The Custom Campaign button is unavailable

The Custom Campaign button is unavailable. After I clicked it it won’t show anything, and then the game sound is lost. I already tried to uninstall and reinstall the game on Battle.net, but it won’t help. Is it a common bug or just me?

If it can’t find any custom campaigns, it will say so and tell you what folder to put them in. Does it not give you this message? Do you have custom campaigns placed in the correct folder?

I’m sure the custom campaigns are in the correct location, and I tried many possibilities. None of them worked. And every time I click the custom campaign button, the game lose sound effect and can’t quit the game, I have to press windows button and click the X of the game window.

The folder might have become read only for some reason. The game is known to crash or lock up in various situations when the …\Documents\Warcraft III folder is set as read only. I’ve spoken to more than a few people this has happened to, so I would check and make sure that the Warcraft III folder in your documents folder is not flagged read only, nor the files within it.

I’m not able to reproduce your issue. I have no custom campaigns, when I click the button it just says “you have no custom campaigns, put them in this folder” and then A blank custom campaign screen that I can simply click Back out of.
