targCount1 function malfunction

Has anyone used the “targCount1” and “Farea1” fields in the unitweapons.SLK file?

Assuming “targCount1” is set to 5 and “Farea1” to 300, in version 2.0, if there are two targets within 300 range, the attack should bounce repeatedly like ABABA when attacking.

However, in version 3.0.0, the attack bounces from A to B and then stops… It doesn’t bounce repeatedly up to the expected 5 times!

This means 3 fewer bounce attacks!

Does anyone know how to solve this problem???

I’ve also noticed that these abnormal parameters cause a significant reduction in bounce damage multiplied by bounce count for many custom maps! Blizzard needs to fix this bug in the next update, restoring the parameter functionality to its state as it was in version 2.0.

That’s right! When I tested this function in versions 3.0.0 and 3.0.1, it failed to bounce off units that had already been bounced!

This significantly reduced the damage multiplier! Previously, it could repeatedly bounce off targets that had already been bounced!

This resulted in the target receiving more repeated bounce damage!

Blizzard’s current update has drastically changed the function’s functionality!

It needs to be reverted to the 2.0 version immediately!

This parameter should now be able to repeatedly bounce off targets that have already been bounced!

Yes! I also encountered the same functional exception error when testing the targCount1 function in versions 3.0.0 and 3.0.1. It failed to bounce units that had already been bounced! We sincerely request Blizzard and the forums to help us revert the targCount1 parameter definition in the unitweapons.slk file back to its previous state, allowing repeated bouncing of targets that have already been bounced!
