I really wish we could have an ai that could adapt to any custom map …
specially when these maps are’nt noob friendly, or just when you cant play with full house and the map requires a ful house.

Thing is i know too many maps that would need em, and devs are no longer working on it.
and that sucks, but the amount of time it’d take for blizzard to go through and make ai that adapts to all of those maps would be unjustifiably high, especially considering the likelihood that all the maps you have in mind are protected (which probably includes obfuscation)
if you feel like tinkering around with the maps though, it is entirely possible to circumvent protection
i’d like to see rather than exploring each map, just an ai that would adapt to the map like a player, i’m sure today its possible
How would that work? The maps are highly customized. The AI won’t even know what the objective is much less understand the different mechanisms to achieve it and the map developers did not design for it.
Try AMAI, a more advanced intelligence than what came with the original warcraft.
