The game would be greater in competitive seen and custom games if we had a mechanic that shows us on hero health bar that the debuff timer bar like stunned,silenced,rooted.These debuff effect would increase the level of play in competitve like lets say I have shadow hunter and TC and I need to chain stun the hero before he/she uses invulnerability potion.Its annoying that continuously clicking and looking the timer of the debuff hex or maybe stun and sometimes when you made miss calculation it costs the game.This mechanic would be good in custom games like Dota if you really like to play.Please developers it would increase the level of the plays in the game and help the new coming players get use to the game and its debuff durations.We have this mechanic in game Heroes of the Storm so the developers can do this in the Warcraft 3 I guess and it can be turn on/off able in settings if its annoying players.Thanks for reading and please support me guys to make this game greater with this little in game mechanic.Please developers make this thing happen.
I would agree that there can be an Option in custom games with this mechanic, but not on ladder. The difference between a good and a bad Player is, that the good player knows the Timings and estimate, when to send the next stun.
With this mechanic the game will be to easy

yes I thought it will be too easy at the first when I started to play HotS but I realized that when you see the bar on the hero it will help you to focus more on other things like microing better or using other spells with your army to enemy army more efficent because you can look the bars when you are microing at the same time.It will allow you to more focus on other stuff because lets say you are using shadow hunter again and I think you don’t get 3 point on hex usually in games so even you are a good player you might not know the durability of level 3 hex in your mind or you didn’t use to it.When it happens you have to check again how much time still you have and probably you are gonna check like 2 time atleast.It will cost you some micro issues because you have to switch between targets again and you have to keep in mind the spell time everytime if you used the skill on important target if he/she has invulnerability potion etc.I am not trying to be offensive here but the cooldown mechanic on the spells works similar to this I guess it can be really good if you think like that.Hard doesn’t mean good everytime guys.
I think this can be a good idea for an “easy mode” for beginners, either vs AI or in Versus mode against other Players, where people can Play against each other with helpful devices.
On the other side, Blizzard has allready implemented that the time for the cooldown can be seen on the hero abilities, whichwas not in classic wc3 included. So your idea could be implemented as well.
I as a veteran player would not use it because i think it can distract me in whatever situation where i need to focus on something else, but for new or “newer” players it can be nice.
@hbkhorror Yeah I don’t really know about the competitive seen too but It would be still cool to have this feature for new players and he/she says can be toggle on/off so I don’t see any problem here. Becasue I think he/she said this solution for this mechanic can distract people like you.
I like the game without buff timers.
It takes skill to predict when a stun runs off if you want to time a chain stun.
Yeah but I still see even pros some time missing their stun or hex timings on easy kills when it shouldn’t happen, atleast it can be only on heroes.
