"Strongest" race

I’m genuinely curious, and i’d like some experienced player opinion on the subject, what race would have the “strongest” army, both in case of “with” and “without” heroes and why.

I’m obviously not asking which race is the strongest in a competitive game, as this take into account a load of parameter.

In case of end-game full tech, balanced composition and full leveled up heroes case, which race would have the strongest 100/100 food deathball, and with which composition? (More or less).

I’m genuinely curious about the subject, especially for compain application, cause I have varying result into deathballing the enemy base in each campain (My composition might be awful too)

Strongest race is Human by a long shot :~Î

Quick research suggests that humans and orcs are popular and have good winrates but undead appear to have the highest winrates statistically speaking even if they aren’t played as often.

Of course that might just mean that undead players are more often the type of player who sticks with the race until they’re actually good at it.

Night elves unfortunately appear to either be average or kind of bad. I’m guessing that has to do with them simultaneously being rather quirky while still lacking some of the abusable stuff other races have.

It fully depends on army comp and the micro game.

Honestly I think Scourge are OP as hell because send in a wave of units to commit murder and once the fight starts tipping either way, send in 3-4 necromancers to clean up the mess and swarm the softened up targets with tons of skellies.

No heroes 100% pop human auto cast spells slow/heal/breakers can tank any land unit and gyros like own any mass air…

That’s more or less what I thought. Human spellcaster feel really strong, especially considering they retain most of their potential even while runing in auto cast.

How do you deal with siege weapon sniping your spell caster though? You micro them out of the strike zone fast enough?

UD meatball is the strongest. UD is very mobile, can easy kite u with heroes. Its army has plenty of buffs, debuffs and poison aura is very strong. Just don’t go Frost Whyrms and u are fine. Its biggest mistake newbies do. It looks cool but its a waste for its cost.

Sry but all these answers are so much bull*hit and wrong. 65% ladder player here and watching very very much Tournaments.

ATM the game is Pretty balance i would say nelf are a bit week this patch cuz they have problems with human and they may need a very smal buff butt aside from that its fine.

Human was for a long time the most constant race, having the most tournament wins of all races. Human has very strong flexebilety and u can do many thins. With high apm and creativity u can get much out of this race. Infi and TH000 are top 5 players.

Orc is very solid and was always very solid. Lyn just won the WGL showing that human is not soo much in favor anymore making it a good race. Lyn is probaly the strongest player atm but not unbeatable.

Undead was long time considerd the worst race. But Happy shows with his insane micro that its possible first place last wgl second place this wgl. also winning every damn tourament in eu. UD has more or less only 1 viable unit comp that ist strong with good micro but they get very predictabel. also they are somewhat abusable with baselame or goldime harras wich can be a problem.

Nelf, well we had Moon the highest earning player so that says all. The race struggels vs human a bit at the moment but the matchup gets more and more innovated playing warden or panda first. Foggy almost beating Happy and vs Orc its also somewhat eaven.

Each race has pros and cons, there really isn’t a ‘strongest’ race. They’re all more or less equal, they just play in different ways. It really depends on what you want to be strong in.

Melee = Orcs
Ranged = Night Elves

Humans are a jack of all trades race. They have a bit of everything and if played right, they can dominate, as they have no real glaring weaknesses.

Undead is also a jack of trades race, but their strength comes from their ability to quickly replace troops and turn corpses into new soldiers.

dude this never comes into play in 1vs1

I beg to differ.

Back in the day I used to run 1v1 games as undead where I used an army that consisted mostly of necromancers and ghouls. Ghouls being extremely easy to pump out (seriously, 2 to 3 crypts and you can churn out ghouls extremely quickly). My ghoul army would rush in, a few of them would die, then I’d send my necromancers in and they’d turn as many corpses as they could into skeletons.

I’d also have that army backed up by a Death Knight, who would use Animate Dead whenever it came off cooldown, so I’d turn my opponents units against him just to add to the chaos.

The only real weakness my army had was when I encountered someone who used air units, because my necromancers didn’t have the damage to efficiently kill them, and ghouls obviously couldn’t attack air. That changed in TFT, because I could raise skeletal mages.

in a 100 vs 100 supply its Orc > Human > Undead > Nelf
The whole FFA community agrees on that

well in low level maybe dude but vs good players u will never win or eaven get ur dk to 6. i can also win vs noobs with mass gyros or radom stuff. its just not a viable strategy in competetive

You’ll note that the OP specifically said this:

So I’m not factoring in competitive play. I’m just talking about gameplay in general.

Strongest race in 2on2 is nodoubt undead, however recent changes may have changed it a bit and im not sure yet how.
also many dont know how to use undead well so it can be countered pretty easilly.

strongest race in 1on1 is hard to say, that has made warcraft 3 so long lasting. but my inuiting says human, because human towers are incredible good and can be massed in late game forcing the enemy slowly go into madnes.

Most of the stuff being said on this thread never comes into play, gives to show how much experience outside of the campaign these people have.

PC master race.

Heil AMD/Nvidia

I think a lot of the discussion have gone off topic. As I said, I wasn’t asking for a comparaison between race in competitive play, just asking the different “full teched full heros” deathball in the different race : What composition do you use, and how strong is it compared to other deathball in from other races
