Standalone version of patch 1.31.1

I can install the classic version of WarCraft III from my CD-ROMs and patch to 1.27b using the standalone installer available from Blizzard’s FTP. But all the patches after that, including the one that added widescreen support, were delivered through the Battle net launcher.

Is it possible to get a standalone installer for the last patch before Reforged, 1.31.1b? This would be nice to have for game preservation reasons (and also so I could keep playing the game on my under-powered laptop).

Stand alone updater support was discontinued around when work began on Reforged. The system was dated and hindered development. All patches after that made slow progress towards Reforged, which is known as patch 1.32.
