I have come across a few human players recently that decide to play a mass tower and bunker down strategy which is cool and fun. however I have notice they been using the staff at tier 3 which says should tele to a town hall/ highest town hall building level. however it also works on any human building so its also works on a tower play. is this suppose to happen? is this how the item fully works or is it a bugged that no one has really notice? I believe with the new human patch coming through next couple of weeks I feel like this tower strategy might become something incredible strong.
It staffs to the highest rated location there is. Most often that is the original main building with which players start out. However, if this gets destroyed then the highest noted building is often the main town hall at an expansion location. If this gets destroyed then heroes will be staffed to the altar as the next best thing. You can downgrade this to the last building and it will still work.
It has always been like this and I presume it is intentional.
