In my opinion, the spellbreaker are a really broken unit. they have no weaknes with medium armor. (i know meal in theory) Heavy meal units only counters them if you have like 5-6 heavy meal units.
i think they should remove or nerf the manastealing ability from heroes or give them at least the heavy armor and reduce armor to 2 from 3 down, (since unarmored or light armor doesn’t make any sense)
now they counter spells really hard, as they are meant to counter, but they also counter heros far too hard and are not nukeable by units, because Medium Armor reduces siege and piercing damage.
all other spellimun anticaster have a really hard counter, but spellbreaker are too bulky in my opinion.
whats your opinion about it?

I agree. Spell Breakers are just over-the-top. I get their soft counter-part are Dryads, but I don’t shudder at the site of Dryads, I literally think of easy kills sometimes and focus and melt the Dryads. Spell Breakers make me shudder. They only need like 6-7 of them + their units and range. If you’re good with micro, you can literally use Spell Breakers as a wall against melee units/heroes, unless you’re kiting and stutter-stepping.
Spell Breakers are a cool unique design though, but do need something changed about them. Maybe only take control of buff spells and not summons? I feel sorry for Grubby for the times he lost his wolves to ToD.
No terrible suggestion . Hu would need major compensatory buffs since breakers is the only thing hu can play nowadays. The race is underpowered and has no favored matchups anymore.

I stopped playing HU because it’s a bad race, but a breaker nerf is just silly.
Breakers do little damage to offset their spell immunity and buff stealing and they’re little more than meat shields for the casters and mortars behind them who do the real killing. They are outclassed by every other melee unit except footmen and ghouls.
The only way you could get overwhelmed by breakers is if you decided to completely ignore the archmage creeping and allowed him to build up his army freely which is usually an instant win for HU.

i don’t see it soo … they also counter heros very hard with the Manaexplode and also vs ranged units they are really a good choise …
they are designed to counter spells and spellcaster hard (even heros), which they are supossed, but they are not nearly as fragile as Raiders are because of theyr spell imunity and they are really tanky at all … all other spellimunce units have working counter on it.
but you cant counter them with pierce or siege (75% and 50% only taken) and your meele cant get them with the much slow on your side …
also light air units could not counter them with pierce …
and they do really good damage dealing vs range.
something should change because when there are like 6-7 out (thats 20 Food, so not that unusal) you cant spell, cant use a hero at all, cant nuke them down with pierce or air and your meele cant compete at all, because meele dont get the damage done, they are suposed to do …
