Well, again let’s discuss some graphics (because I think it’s the biggest thing of Reforged: the graphics overhaul).
About Jaina:
Over the years we have seen plenty of iterations of Jaina, but for this comparison let’s use only Classic Jaina, Reforged Jaina and HotS Jaina. (Because in WoW, at first Jaina was just a generic Female Human model with different clothes, and giving how different WoW graphics are, they have never made a proper model for her.)
Jaina is also one of the main characters who never made an appearence on a cinematic scene, so we have never seen a realistic approach of her.
Classic Jaina
Jaina is 22 a years old, curious, peaceful, cunning and strong Archmage.
She is seen becoming invisible to secretly listen to other people’s conversations.
Her classic look has skimpy and lightweight clothing, with big boots and gloves for adventure, and a hood covering most of her face, making her look misterious and shy

Heroes of the Storm Jaina
Trying to give her a more epic and highlighted look, they added lots of detail on Jaina’s clothing. That’s good for me.
Things start to get shady with the unnecesary weight and armor.
Also, trying to make her look more confident and heroic now has a smug smile and her face is not hiding anymore. She gained a well brushed fleek

Reforged Jaina
The main aspects of the Heroes of the Storm design are present here. Shoulderpads, ridiculous kneepads, and the well kept girly fleek.
But also adding a metallic short top over the bare skin? That must hurt.
But there’s more to it. Her face is totally different.
She has too much “makeup” and looks more “pretty” than ever.
She doesn’t have a curious facial expression.
Her body proportions are totally off - and look at the way she swings her hips on her walking animation (on The Culling trailer).

For me, Reforged Jaina looks more like a p0rn actress impersonating Jaina for a video
So, what do you think?
My thoughts are: get rid of that “Play Free Now: League of Angels” look and make her look a little more like the cunning magician she was.
And please, for the Light, get rid forever of those kneepads

WC3:R shoulders are ridiculous everywhere. That’s been the complaint on lots of models (eg footman) - I hope feedback gets through. Unfortunately they don’t seem to be inclined to be all that talkative yet.
The kneepads are pretty bizarre looking too.
Also, lore-wise, aren’t mages supposed to wear cloth.
Someone needs to start a user project to just up-poly and up-texture the WC3 models (especially humanoid models). I’d donate to that.

I like the unit models for Armies of Azeroth
Golden clearly describes Jaina’s substantial boobs in this segment of her latest book - the in-game model does not reflect the size of her bust. See below:

Well, that’s also only a technical limitation added to WoW for gameplay reasons. There’s no “real” reason why a mage couldn’t wear a full plate armor. Many of the characters really mix-wear their armor and clothing in cinematics and off-screen lore.
Also, I think Jaina’s model is fine. There’s going to be a lot of different skins anyway, so there’s ought to be one for everyone.

I always wanted Jaina to be more sexy, more apprentice and sorceress.
Jaina in Reforged SUX HARD. She is not pleasent for male eye at all ,her face look like a cheap poor villager girl having nothing to eat,dressed in apprentice clothes.
She must be more beatifull, mysterious,cruious,a bit shy,SO her face must be like from second picture in gallery altough i wish shes dressed like from first picture and wear a cape/hood exactly like original wc3 xD

I know I’m their member, as you can see the models that are used for this WC III version are original models that were made for SC II
i thought blizzard released those models themselves though? are you saying AoA also works on current wc3? is it just custom gamemode? i prefer ladder, but it would be cool if reforged offered 3 options, classic, aoa, and reforged graphics
No we worked for both SC II and WC III , WC III version has the name ‘Rebirth’ I released it for the fans sometime ago but we decided to take SC II models back from it to not kill hype, after Reforged announcement we decided to release them with Rebirth too,it works with ladder it is not affecting gameplay it is just a ‘local file’ to the game, now we are making a new plan for WC 1/2 remaster.
And no Blizz only showed us on their WoW Facebook and Twitter etc.
wow thats pretty crazy, I did not realize AoA is now available for wc3, and you say it works without affecting ladder!?! you guys should advertise it better, I mainly visit hiveworkshop .com though

looks great! I’m not going to download it yet cause I know theres lots of patches incoming, but I hope this will still work and look good once reforged releases. As long as it doesnt effect FPS i might just use this instead of reforges graphics!
Blizz should make this a default option lol

can anybody give a good reason why this mod should not be included as a standard option in wc3?(aside from stability) if blizz could get it to run smoothly I’d go for those graphics over reforgeds’sds

I’ll make sure it will run with reforged and like I said me and atleast some of the team will still be making things we don’t like about reforged ourselves, and well… Only Blizzard knows why , our team leaders were kinda sure Blizzard will use AoA team to remaster Wc III but they just said ‘Hey , great job! We can’t hire you but you can make a donation website and we can share it on account to show we like your job’
