According to the task manager, Warcraft III refuses to use my nvidia gpu. I’ve tried nvidia control panel and windows settings to change it but neither work.
Game settings → additional command line arguments → “-graphicsapi Direct3D12” fixed it for me
if driver settings dont work, as a last resort you can disable the integrated graphics in Device Manager or elsewhere. Not the best solution but it does work if necessary.
