If you’ve been struggling with Warcraft 3 Reforged being completely unplayable—unable to access campaign, 1v1 ladder, custom maps, or even exit or configure the game—I found a way to get it running (though it still crashes occasionally, just like it has since launch) using Nvidia’s app. Wanted to share it here so people have at least one option to try. Here’s what to do:
- Open up the Nvidia app.
- Find Warcraft 3 Reforged in your games.
- Click Optimize.
- Hit Play.
“Supposedly”, this makes the game playable, although it might still crash from time to time.
I’m not sure if this will work with AMD software or similar, but if anyone wants to give it a shot and share their results, that would be awesome!
