And there is still no player profiles, clans, Achievements, Skins, CO-OP features & no team game balance for Arranged Teams vs Random teams.
Like what is this Blizzard. I totally get that it is covid. But this game will be out for a YEAR in 38 days. Normally there would be some nice anniversary event that would go down for blizzard games. However, this game seems ABANDONED.
Every patch seems to be about FOOTPRINTS.
Why aren’t there any microtransactions to help get patches out, why isn’t there god damn serious balance updates for Arranged teams vs random teams, why there aren’t simple player profiles IN THE GAME?
Is there some autist running Warcraft 3 Reforged? Why is there only ONE guy updating a game you’re trying to SELL to PEOPLE FOR THIRTY DOLLARS?
At this point, you’re just better off selling Warcraft 3 title to developers that actually CARE about the game. Because WE CAN’T EVEN GET A RANKING SYSTEM BACK INTO THE GAME. I don’t wish to say much more, but god damn blizzard. it’s been almost a year and it’s getting pretty clear. Blizzard doesn’t care anymore it seems…
What do you guys think about this with updates/features?
This game is abandoned and Blizzard doesn’t care. The best we can do at this point is to uninstal and quit.
And because they don’t care they focus on footprints and all this stuff nobody wants. They are provoking the players that still play this game like “wahahahaha look we only patch stupid nonsense stuff,wahahaha please beg a bit more for ladder…wahahaha” - however at least it feels like that. screw this game. With games like call of duty activision blizzard show that they can do good if they want!! and this is the sad part about this! They just don’t care wc3.
Activision BLizzard has the ressources to give this game ladder/profiles. They don’t want! They want to abandon this game! - we all should uninstal and quit wc3. it is a dead game, because of Blizzard!
Nope it is not good. W3champions is a toxic high skilled hell. There is no fun in this only tryhard sweater progamer who hate each other. They report each other and admin team there ban your account if some of their “friends” reports you. - if you want to know what hell feels like install w3champions - but trust me, there is no “fun” there.
i started to get a singleplayer again last month and gaming started to be fun again. no more rage at enemy for winning me, no more rage at blizzard for no ladder/…and so on. but the best for my health is that i finaly stay away from hell (w3champions), i’ve never seen a more disgusting place with more bad people. these guys want to damage other people!
They are probably financially abandoning this game because of community response. Someone once suggested it needed to be financially abandoned by early 2019 because there were not enough preorder copies sold to justify the expenditure.
This is a general “new” feature that should be added in wc3 reforged.
The old wc3 didnt have new models and graphics either, well sherlock thats why its called “reforged”…
We are waiting since summer for a new patch (june/july?) they ANNOUNCED & TEASED the old “new” features, still no update
Ahh yeah youre right, let the community create the game. What a nice argument next time they will send you just code “make your own patches”.
Features were removed, patches are still minor changes.
Blizzard combines “who cares” with “remove that!” and now we got a game that even the old veterans are leaving because they cant even play the old version.
Features like Coop would be fun but if they went how in Starcraft 2 where each commander can have specific units, well that would be a lot difficult as War3 doesn’t have as many units as SC2.
Achievements would be great, but not seeing it happening
This makes me laugh because they are teasing us with something that was already there and expecting us to get hyped up about it. To be honest I cannot wait when it comes out only to find that it is just a simple copy & past from SC2 ladder
Well in case you didn’t know the community was pretty much creating the game and adding content with Custom Maps and Custom campaigns.
I was meaning future patches where they add for example Ladder

New units will never come, maybe my grandchildren will play warcraft 3 reforged CLASSIC where they add some pets for the base or stuff idk.
it will probably just copy & paste from the classic wc3
well that made me laugh, because you cant compare funmaps with w3c ladder because one is made with the game itself while the other is a permaban “worth” because its self coded stuff that injects into the game.
I was talking about coding the stuff that is missing, not doing some ingame maps.
They could make the same game and add new models to it.
This was just extremely unnecessary because they even made the ingame launcher some kind of a browser monstrosity which runs with 15fps
All in all i think we are just talking into the same pot, i probably red it the wrong way you meant it
This sounds about right. I think they miscalculated or perhaps Activision doesn’t completely understand the tremendous reputational damage this is doing to Blizzard. Blizzard was a special developer, possibly the most admired for a generation of gamers, precisely because players KNEW they did NOT put out incomplete or objectively bad games -(they’d rather cancel than have their name associates with a subpar product like SC:Ghost), Even towards the end it seemed like they at least tried to make things right when a game flopped.
The fact Blizzard just abandoned this game, even if it will never make them any profit, is an unfathomable decision. I do not think the executives understand how bad this is for their brand. Gamers will never trust this company again. All that goodwill they built up over the decades is gone practically overnight. For what? To save a few pennies? Very sad.
