Was playing the OG 2002 version just fine yesterday. Can’t log in today (it’s an hour past 5pm as of making this post)
Keep getting error 6:10 when i try to log onto my battlenet account via WC3 again WC3 NOT WC3R.
Made a ticket as i had a pop up saying i needed to download something and when i clicked on it, it just closed WC3 and nothing happened.
ticket tells me i need WC3R…sooooo i am now forced to buy a POS remake version of a game i have owned for 22 years and was playing just fine the pervious day? Is that what they meant by me needing WC3R…
I was just playing campaign not trying to do anything online. Now i can’t even play offline cause i can’t log in…that makes no sense (offline is greyed out can’t even click it)

I have the same issue here with my friend, its unbelievable, and no warning or anything.

Right? I haven’t kept up with anything blizzard in about 4 years…
Just got the RTS bug and played through SC2 and knew i had played WC3 few years back just needed to dig out the discs…played it fine all week (again single player no multiplayer) and now bam a 22 year old game needs an update (again talking about OG version not reforged)…10/10 blizz 10/10…
They’ll fix the license issue.
not a license issue i can’t even log into battlenet via warcaft3…
License only becomes an issue when you download the game…i’ve had it downloaded and been playing for the last week and a half…
When i flat out asks what i needed to do the person handling my ticket said i need WC3R me being out of touch literally thought that was just a patch or something he meant.
Now i’m thinking he meant i need to BUY reforged…=

I didn’t play wc3 at all for several months after reforged ruined everything, over a year. Looks like this may be it forever, if they even let classic users back in. How many times can a company spit in your face and you just take it?
There was a technical issue with classic game keys among other things.
Update the game and try again see if it works now

Were you playing on the OG client? I think they managed to somehow finally remote brick the clients of everyone who still had it. Just tried to get onto mine and it wouldn’t open and said to reinstall it. Going to the battle.net account screen and clicking on the classic version download of the game now triggers a modern bnet setup.
I have owned reforged for a few years and now that they are selling the new bundle with the remastered Warcraft 1 and 2 its trying to make me buy it again. Just to play a game I already owned…
So I bought original War2 BDP on CD-Rom. Then I bought 2024 february War2BNE (battle net ed) - but I realized is not working for multiplayer 
. Opened several tickets none of them helped. So War2BNE - is just single player old interface, is like original CD in dos box. Not worth the 10 euro!!!
Also I bought War 3 TFT - around year 2002. But I was very excited when they announced Reforged so I pre-ordered in 2019. Now is blocked. 
So from all of my games and lot of purchases (last 30 euro in 2019 and 10 euro in feb.2024) just War2 and just single player is working.
And now the new package - so I was a Blizzard fan but NO thanks!
I am frustrated and disagree with Blizzard’s policy!
