So after panel with Grubby (2019) Here's the NEWS! + Campaign Changes

There will be campaign changes - the new site was wrong, though it will stick mostly to original campaign. Geography changes will be there with other changes that reinvigorate those missions. Like Dalaran and Silvermoon geography changes, Anestrian in campaign etc

Arthas vs Illidan is now a sick cinamatic - preview on youtube if you can find

Editor is coming soon in beta in next few weeks

Undead is coming tuesday (plan)

NE will come later

They already have a build that is much more advanced than the current beta

NE images online - look sick (whole base/units)

Balance changes will come they know portraits, animations, graphics look trash. They said “working on it”; like fix blademaster walk, unit size etc

Terrain and stuff will be improved

They said the beta will be buggy as hell as its a testing beta, they need bugs to be able to find them and fix them.

Lots of multiplayer stuff aswell but Back2Warcraft can cover that on his twitter
I can upload images from panel (awsome images) to reddit later.

Also beta keys are still going out - You will get them at max within 2 weeks. Like Brian Sousa was joking how he’s still waiting on his key lol.

There’s alot of proposed changes. I am mostly focusing on campaign/cinematic ones.

I think Wtii and Back2Warcraft can cover that.

that’s interesting

This is good news, and pretty much what I expected after we heard what was said at Polygon and compared it to the datamined beta information.

I would love to see the full thing!

steeples fingers Eeeeexcellent…

Darkness called. But I was on the phone so I missed it. I tried to star-69 Darkness but only got the answering machine. I yelled “Pick up the phone, Darkness!” but he ignored me. Darkness must have been screening his calls.

Translated: More good news.

The knife-eared xenophobes can wait.

If they didn’t I’d be very disappointed.

It actually looks sick, is it made in-game?

I thought a site yesterday said they scrapped in game cinematics (culling-style)?

I think I said it in another thread but MMO-Champion has pretty good summary of the panel with screenshots.

They did, but the Arthas vs. Illidan fight was always an in-game cinematic so they had to do it this way.

no release date?

Cool news, charges up the hype. Now where’s that panel if on youtube and if it comes with pictures or vids.

I remember hearing way back almost a year ago, that blizzard wasn’t redoing every cinematic, just the opening that we already saw, but maybe hopefully the ending cinematic(s) as well.

That’s not what he means.

There are in-game cinematics that are actually part of each campaign map. Those were initially going to be redone.

This is no longer the case.

The panel just ended. Give it a couple hours or so, someone will post it.

Eh, Im not particularly bothered by that, but they did say geography changes, right? I don’t get how the in-game cutscenes will stay unchanged if the geography is different, but either way its not a big deal to me.

Dude, there’s a clip on Twitch, do I need to spell everything out for you?

I have all the photos (snipping tooled) so I can upload to Reddit.

That is, the cinematic style is going to be unchanged.

Clearly with the terrain and map changes they’d have to move things around a bit but the overall cinematic style is unchanged.

yea I mean it would be dumb to change it

I saw what looked like a screenshot of the ending cinematic for the second tutorial mission where the orcs leave Lordaeron for Kalimdor during the panel too. It was the same camera angle as before but with the new artwork it still looked impressive.
