Its a great artwork! It perfectly pictures the worn out and desperate arthas that fails to get rid of the scourge and slowly is falling towards darkness.

Sure but his hair is still blonde. To me Arthas with paladin armor was always the one on the cover of original warcraft 3. He lost his soul to frostmourne not his energy.

He didn’t turn into a white-haired death knight overnight. His transormation was progressive.

It didn’t happen in 2 secs either.
If you look at full art it is the moment he claimed frostmourne since he is standing infront of his hammer and book.
Don’t tell me he aged 20 years in 2 months because of plague and his anger.

I like this artwork tbh, much better of his 17 years old Reforged model, he looks weared and kind of manly on the app

On the other hand, if I remember correctly, Arthas is supposed to be young. He was 19 when he was inducted into the Knights of the Silver Hand, so I suppose he was in his early twenties in WarcrafT 3
To my opinion, Arthas would look better if he was like something between that artwork (too old) and its current Reforged model (too young)

Considering the things he’s done before even picking up Frostmourne, that will cause many sleepless nights and stress. I ain’t surprised he looks like that.

Menethil’s legacy isn’t just the throne. it is good genes too. If you look at Terenas Menethil he looks 60 at the age of 90. Calia arthas’s sister also look 10-20 years younger than her age in legion. So yeah Arthas would be ok.
What anime are you watching with such strong western character design in it? I’ve been looking for something new to watch.
