Can anyone tell me why i have 30+ megabytes/second when downloading using any client but takes me 5 minutes+ to download wc3 maps?
Make sure u test by your own region first,if all region are affected they may look fine now just as a matter of time before they turning into the undead,this actibliz must be purge

I play from AUS so i use the US region, my mates download the maps fast but i take a really long time for some reason even though i generally have better download speeds than them
Probably a bandwidth limit on the servers uploading the map. This would likely be part of DoS prevention since otherwise a compromised data centre, with equal or greater bandwidth to the servers BattleNet operates, could shut down BattleNet just by repeatedly downloading a single map from Warcraft III. StarCraft II also has such a limit if I recall.
