Hey,
There are awful screen tearing in “old” CGI cutscenes, they are almost unwatchable. You obviously re-recorded those, but something went very wrong…

Try using V-Sync.
Hey PopshU,
Can you forward your DXdiag info to War3attachments@blizzard.com
IM using a Gsync screen and an rtx 2070 and it is tearing like crazy on my screen during the opening cutscene
I am also having a similar issue. Both the opening cinematics for the prologue and the human campaign were tearing horribly. Will also send my dxdiag information to the given email.
Workaround, but not an actual solution. For many that are still using 60hz monitors the difference between being locked 60FPS and playing on double that number is night and day. Despite not being able to differentiate it with a naked eye, the smoothness effect makes the game play much more enjoyable.
I also have cinematic screen tearing
I’m not entirely sure what you mean here? Do you mean that if you have a 60 hz monitor you SHOULD play at 120 fps or you shouldn’t? Because I was playing at 200 fps and I was still getting the screen tearing on my 60 hz monitor.
Though, as an update, the cutscene at the end of the human campaign of Arthas returning home did NOT tear, unlike Thrall’s vision and Medivh’s prophecy so… Shrug Who even knows.
Same.
Hey Torelef, I’ve sent my dxdiag to the email.
Thanks!
Have the same problem with tearing-freezing cinematics and some cutscenes. Sent my dxdiag, but apparently no reply…
