I spent many hours, at least 6-8, playing Act 1 of Forsaken Kingdom yesterday on 10/8. However, today I cannot load any of my saves. It seems they were on 3.0.1 and there was a rollback. How come I received no warning that this would happen in game or even in BattleNet? This is beyond terrible customer support - absolutely horrendous decision-making. Is there any way I can play my save from yesterday somehow, or do I have to wait TEN DAYS to MAYBE load my save? And if I have to wait 10 days, is there even a guarantee that it will actually work, and not be something like 3.0.2 invalidating everyone’s progress? These Forsaken Kingdom acts are very long, restarting them is a nonstarter. It’s probably unwise to even play Forsaken Kingdom given the constraints. You never know when a hotfix will nuke everything.
Same here. I just tried to load a save and there’s nothing available after 10/6 which is 3 days ago. Insane, insane decision to just wipe out people’s progress with no warning.
It’s extremely disheartening. I guess I will wait until October 19th and hope for the best. My goal will be just to experience the content and lore on storymode, as I cannot mentally invest in this disaster.
This was due to the complaints of people not getting warned about the update. They lost save progress so they came to the forums and Blizzard rolled it back.
It seems more people are upset about the rollback than there was of people who complained about the update.
I’m not happy about the rollback either. I was prepared for the update and eager to get it, now I’m just… not playing it at all right now…
