Hi,
i am currently working on my own personal Reshade settings to change the graphics of Reforged to my likings: Less saturation and a change of indivual Colors so the game becomes easier to read. Now my question: Is it allowed to use ReShade in Multiplayer? It does not really give any advantages at all against oponnents. If you can argue that better readability is such an advantage, then turning classic graphics on would be the same case, wouldnt it?
Still i am curious what Blizzard has to say about this.
Greeting to all.
I dont care if you do that, unless you cause yourself to desync.
Thanks. The chinese quenching mod seems to get a lot of attention. They are doing it on a different Level by changing the maps and other stuff aswell, i think. However the result ist the same: different and more pleasing look and better readability. Question remains, is that allowed for MP? An official statement about that would be nice

Apparently there was something like ReShade that got used by many people for Diablo 3. It made the game look darker. Nobody got banned for using it.
Btw feel free to add your settings to this ReShade preset site: https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/game/2274/
Maybe some people gonna appreciate your settings.

As I understand Reshade and the new Qenching mod are only the client side, until they don’t change hitboxe of the game I guess Blizzard don’t care about it.
Oh thanks for your opinions. Im currently trying to optimize some Colors. Ist difficult since i hade to pick one main map to work with - and still the others have to look acceptable although they use completly different colors/textures…and there have been cut of colors that looked weird i had to fix or to strong contrast which resultet in an not very eye friendly, aggressive burned out look. I want it to be settle, descent…different but not overmodded.
Here is an example of it YouTube
ill upload it as soon i think ist done. Greetings to you all and thanks for your answers.
