We donât need Bugthesda 76 here anymore we was what release now fix later means (itâs complete year and still that game didnât get fixed).
Dont forget that they used an entire year not doing anything with zero communication which if continued will mean no progress done whatsoever (so try and understand where is the core of the problem is).
Most of the âEarly Accessâ games you see are made by Indie developers not by multi billion corporation company.

I hope to God you are right about this beta build. I will gladly eat my words if the full game looks 10 times better than the beta. But I still cant sleep easy seeing how the beta looks rn.

Just to note few things here, the Reforge engine is very much based on the classic engine and most of the gameâs fundimentals are taken from there. Just recently (a while ago in fact) the classic engine got some upgrades those allowed for more complixity to the map and more to be added to them before they hit their limit (the game will crash when they are launched).
Even before the upgrade there were very HD models taken from WoW and other places and they would run with the game just fine (the process was just exchanging 4 files in the game folder), this means it is possible for the classic people to see those models by just extracting those files from Reforge and put them in the classic. However there were some lightening improvements and so on of other minor improvement.
Still thatâs not all of it, The map editor have more new functions and features to be utilized that the classic cannot handle because of the engine. Although this doesnât make sense to a degree itâs yet to be seen how it will go, so basically we are paying for literal reskin that till the moment is no where ready for release.

So if the lead artist had nothing to do with making any of the models then obviously him leaving has made zero impact on the production of the game.
I canât find any better place to put this.
Iâm going to admit Iâm disappointed with the status of Warcraft III reforged. Itâs about 2 and a half weeks away from the projected launch date and it feels only HALF complete.
I appreciate Blizzard being attentive and responsive with their fans on developing this game, however, without the changes that we were expecting, it is a very lack luster game so far. I appreciate the Classic Warcraft III players wanting to keep the nostalgia and originality of the base game, however, with what we seem to have so far, it definitely should NOT have been advertised and expected to release as a âreforgedâ version of the base game.
The original voice acting and sound effects just donât seem to blend well together with the new updated graphics. I see the great graphics and then hear the old sounds, and it makes me cringe a little inside. Very disheartening and I was really hoping, nay, expecting more for my $40.
I am MORE than willing to wait the extra time for the game to be worked on and perfected further. I would appreciate a game thatâs; polished, well balanced, well put together, looks great, plays great, and wait the extra time. Rather than play an unfinished feeling game that doesnât peak my nostalgia and interest, but makes me cringe every time I hear the characters talk or a shot fired or melee attack land.
Devâs please, take this into consideration.

So today is 15th of December and the chances of this game coming out before new year are next to 0 i suppose?
There is no way they are going to announce a release date and release within the final two weeks of the year, my best guess is itâs been pushed back to march, at least.
Which is fine, Iâd rather have a finished game than a buggy mess rushed out the door.
