It is not the biggest issue WC3R has, but it is worth mentioning.
I like the concept of the Idea that each campaign is represented by a book spine. However these Books are way too big on the screen and not all 9 chapters fin on one screen.
Also, the image that opens in place of the book does not fit the book-theme and is more-or-less redundant.
Here are my suggestions to improve it:
- Make the books smaller, so that all 9 books fit on one screen, fill up the frame around the books with a book-shelf background
- If a book is selected, show it as slightly pulled out
- when opening a campaign to select missions, the background frame could resemble an open book (colored by campaign) on a reading table

Would love it if they just left WC3 alone and made all these garbage changes to WC3R…
But noooo had to go ruin a perfectly fine game. The books look like crap, scaling is godawful…
Give WC3 owners the option to roll back to before the 2.0 patch cause we didn’t ask for this WC3R owners did…

Exactly. I love the idea, but something is just off with the menu.
The books are way too large, and moving to some Frozen Throne campaigns is clunky because (as far as I can tell) you can only do so with the arrow on the right side. Except the arrow insists on going through each book, one at the time, making the process slow.
Either fit all books on screen at once, or make the Frozen Throne campaigns a separate page and make the arrow transition to it.
The way each Campaign preview opens by pushing the other books aside is also visually odd.
I absolutely love the core idea, and the artwork on the spines is beautiful. Just tweak the implementation a bit. The books have no business filling the entire screen.

oooor leave all that new BS for the Reforged people and leave the 2002 OG version the hell alone…

The classic campaign without any changes is still playable, jackass.

Never ssaid it wasn’t playable jackass…
and yes they did change the Menu/Ui and scaling…
I have units going straight up invisible while running which didn’t happen before…
Menu is godawful looking with those books…was perfectly fine before zero reason to change WC3 2002 version…WC3R is the version that everyone wanted updated…not the OG one…

And also WC3 and WC3R have been combined
Confirmed by multiple GM’s in Tickets i have opened about the 2.0 issues…
Why they combined them is beyond me and is just stupid.
It is off-topic, but there are reasons for having a separate WarCraft 3 Classic client:
- Performance issues (WC3R can take ages to load and my CPU does not do well with games in 4k, slowing it down)
- Disk space if you would not need Reforged skins
I think WarCraft 3 should get a separate re-release called “WarCraft 3: Remastered” using upscaled classic models and textures (like the Concept Screenshots). The Reforged Models should be moved to a separate Project: “WarCraft Saga: Titanforged” which would remake the Old RTS and add new Campaigns (and WC3RF owners should get WC3RM and WCS-TF WC3 campaigns for free).
Orrrr
Just leave WC3 2002 the hell alone…doesn’t need upscaled anything…no new models needed…
That was the entire point behind WC3R…
Menu looks like crap and there are multiple issues in game as well…pre 2.0 worked/looked fine…
