Reforged potential!

Remember how when dota mode was made for original WarCraft III, Blizzard didn’t know what it will turn out to be- most popular genre ever. If they did, they would NEVER let others be the first to make moba games and take the lead that can’t be surpassed. They realized their mistake too late. if they made hots before LoL was made, then Hots would be the number one popular game for sure.

So my point is this- If someone makes some mode for reforged and people love it, Blizzard might not want to risk making the same mistake again. Some new original mode might give birth to a new genre, that will take over the world, like moba did. Who knows. And if that happens, I hope Blizzard will be the one to do it, and not be the one who is trying to catch up when it’s too late. Right??

Now, what kind of mode could be made that doesn’t already exist? Is that even possible? I don’t have any ideas. :C

  1. Why is Reforged important? It’s not like WC3 has not been existing all this time.
  2. Why is the WC3 custom game scene important? Are you not aware of the SC2 Arcade and Dota2 customs? Are you not aware of Teamfight Tactics that was made in Dota2?
