Random disconnects from Bnet after loading a custom map when I host it

I have problem with several disconnects from the battle net when I try to host a custom game map.
It happens randomly after game that I hosted is about to finish it’s loading. Sometimes it doesn’t disconnect when I host map -> get disconnect and then I host it again - but not always.
This happens the most when I start w3 and I launch the game for the first time.
When I try to play this map not as a host It’s all fine.
When I try to play this map not on battle net it’s also fine.

Anyone have similar problem and know any solution?

The map you’re hosting has desync or crashing issues, you must find what’s causing the desyncs/crash. It can be a reckless trigger, too many doodads, a ui, etc. Based on your description it seems to me that it’s a desync issue, cause you can play offline normaly, but when you host it online, it desyncs.
And this "It happens randomly after game that I hosted is about to finish it’s loading." Seems like a crash, caused by loading too much stuff. Too many doodads maybe?

I don’t think so. I played many bigger maps with probably much more custom objects/imported stuff etc. My map is very simple where I use as much as I can classic icons/models. Map size is just 2mb before optimalizing and 1.4mb after. Huge orpg maps are like 25mb and they desync much less often.
Is there any chance I could send the map to you so maybe you will be able to find out the cause?
Lately I’m thinking about to make the map all over again because I started creating this map few years ago on old editor and maybe It is the cause of desyncs even if I finished it on new one. I’m desperated…

You can upload it on any site like Mediafire, mega, or any other site. Then you send me, on private, the link through Battle.net chat. I’ve sent you an invite.

Hello, i have same problem for Millenium RPG, Some of our players mostly EU based Hosts are getting random disconnects after loading Map, And it always host drops. Game works fine on LAN.

is there a way to check whats going on. Forum doesnt let me share external links.

its probably something to do with how much network traffic the map generates that it may work on a LAN but not online. Games run through a proxy server in Reforged and they might be subject to traffic limits, much like how Overwatch custom games are.

thanks for replying, how can i check network traffic or solve this issue

the game doesn’t really give you this information unfortunately.

but also it only happens to host player, not other players has no problem, then after loading map we are seeing, you have been log out from battle.net message, then only host is disconnecting

No mattter who hosts it? or just this specific person?

It shouldn’t matter who hosts because Reforged takes the original peer-to-peer system and shoves it through a proxy server, so the server is the “host” everyone connects to and individual connections aren’t dependent on each other.

only one is getting dc after map load and that is one who is hosting map. And apperantly mostly they are all eu located players which use eu blizzard server. Its getting more interestingly when i said those. I know we use blizz servers but can there be any issue with big size map loading into eu blizz server issue or is it just map, its more than 200mb map. This issue doesnt happen when do you play on other realms like eurobattle server or irina server

The question was, did you try this with different hosts?

If its the host and only the host no matter who does it, and it happens 100% of the time, then it’s probably a problem with the map itself.

yes we tried with different hosts, it doesnt happen %100, you can think we rmk 5 times for it to play. Sometimes host survive, sometimes gets disconnect. i never saw this issue when NA players are hosting.

Well if its only players in a certain region and not always, its more likely those players are having a connection problem, be it within ( router settings, firewall, etc), or outside (ISP or backbone router problems) of their control. But that shouldn’t affect just one map, it should affect the entire game.in the case of problems between the server and the user, a VPN can often fix those kinds of problems.

I’d also check if those people in other regions try connecting via the NA gateway and see if it still happens.
