Problem joining Battle.net Custom games

Every time I try to join any custom game it shows in the text below that I joined and then I leave immediately. It also does not show me in the lobby at all. It won’t allow me to start the game and people see me as joining and leaving immediately as well. I have an image of the screen shot but I cannot post screenshot on here.

Anyone have any leads or ideas on how to fix this?

I was thinking it had to do something with my Maps folder and needs to be renamed but I had tried that and WC3 automatically created a new “Maps” folder in my documents and downloaded games automatically to it.

Any help greatly appreciated would really like to get back to playing customs once more, thank you!

I also cannot join custom games when trying to create a game using a Blizzard map. I either cannot join my friends games - I immediately get kicked from those lobbies - and when I create my own game I can neither add computer slots or invite players. This is incredibly frustrating as we have been playing WC3 since launch in 2003.

Jarby I fixed mine. you have to bring your downloaded custom map and move it to your general Warcraft III folder. Each time you download a new map it will go into your downloads folder. You need to manually move it to your “Warcraft III” folder and it will then work, give it a try.
