Post removed?

ONCE AGAIN, I tried to post something here in the forums, and it was immediately removed by the forum moderators…
Are you allowed to post anything negative about Blizzard in the forums without being instantly flagged, and threatened??
They made a ridiculous error, and I posted it here to get some feedback, but as is ALWAYS the case, when you are not complimenting Blizzard in the forums, I get a notification that it was removed…
So, let me see if I understand this, Blizzard is perfect in every way, and anything they do is correct.
If they make a mistake, and you try to point it out anywhere, you WILL be flagged and threatened.
If you are upset about Blizzard decisions, you can attempt to put in a Ticket, but they are just going to respond that they do not have any control over anything at Blizzard / Activision, and threaten your account with termination for asking about it.
Once these threats have been made there is no recourse whatsoever, because everyone at Blizzard / Activision is in on it, and will relentlessly threaten you with punitive actions for speaking up about anything.
So, I guess, just bend over and take it right??
WOW, you people really do have a racket going on here. Now I will just sit back and wait for this post to be flagged / removed!!

What’s the original issue?

I put in a Ticket because I had just realized that my old WC3 icons would no longer open the game, so I went to my Battle.net account to get the clients, but it would not let me get the Frozen Throne client, and when I downloaded the Reign of Chaos client, and ran it, the Battle.net Desktop App. opened, and patched the game to the point where it would no longer run on my computer…
I was informed by the response to my Ticket, that my computer no longer met the minimum system requirements for the game, which i did not understand as I have been playing it on this exact laptop for years now with no issues. It seems that when I opened the new Reign of Chaos game, it forced a new patch on me that was no supporting my system anymore. So, I was told that it was a compatibility issue that was stopping the game from running. This upset me, and I repeatedly tried responding to the Ticket to get a less expensive option than going out and upgrading my computer to run the game. After a couple of interactions with the Ticket response team, I was sent a Warning notification that my Ticket had been marked as Resolved, and told that if I continued to contact them about this matter, my account would face punitive actions up to and including Termination, because of some microscopic fine-print hidden terms of use thing.
No option to reopen the Ticket were presented, just a threat, and so I tried to copy and paste this warning here to get some feedback on it, but it was instantly flagged and removed, and I was issued more Blizzard / Activision threats about terms of use violations that I had never heard of before…
These people are getting to be downright criminal in their business practices, and it is frustrating to me now!!

Ah, well from my knowledge, that problem will never be resolved and the only choice really is to abandon Blizzard to the fire it started. It’s sad, and some people are desperately hanging on and trying to be optimistic, but they really just don’t know any better.

I was hoping not to have to do that because Blizzard games have consistently been the only good games that will port over to Macintosh, but I am almost there myself after this fiasco…
I may not renew my WOW subscription next time around truthfully, and they will have lost yet ANOTHER loyal subscriber!!

Yep, I cancelled mine in december. People think this company will somehow revive when important figures that made it what it originally was keep leaving.

Not really hoping for a revival so much as some minimum QoL patches from blizz. I think we all know the community does the heavy lifting work of making this game enjoyable. Random Fans with modding / mapping tools make more creative content in their free time than Blizz will ever, quite literally with the new EULA, give them credit for. Even if this is an unstable mess online just the ability to make my own custom game content is worth having for myself personally. If im not hosting a map online i can mod it up to the gills with 3rd party content. I already have a couple small maps for my own use and for friends with great custom imported music sound tracks and sound effects ripped from anything I can find on youtube. Replaced a lot of the models with ones with more fluid animations etc too. It’s nice to have that sort of creative control for setting up LAN parties to play small local group content like a custom DnD adventure using the warcraft 3 editor. I really hope they bring custom campaigns too.

This hasn’t been true for a little while now. They’ve effectively dropped mac support for their products going forward. Overwatch and D4 have launched/will launch without a mac client whatsoever, Heroes of the Storm has been unplayable for me for close to five months now, and they can’t even figure out how to make the WC3 world editor function on Mac, effectively making our version of the client objectively inferior to the PC version.

If you’re going to exclusively stick to mac client games, go elsewhere.
