Creating streamlined conveniences for Twitch content creators as well as users will really bring Warcraft 3 into a more modern space.
- Allow Twitch account merging within Battlenet.
- This will let users connect their Twitch account with their Battlenet account, which for content creators could allow them to curate content for their viewers and subscribers.
- Allow custom games to set Twitch specifications that are set by global Warcraft 3 Twitch settings.
- For example, Warcraft 3 has global Twitch settings that custom games can mess around with, like which users can join lobby, talk in chat, or even which users are players vs. spectators in a match.
- This allows newer custom games to create more interesting content by being able to consider Twitch interactions in the map editor.
-
Allow versatility in how content creators on Twitch can interact with their viewerbase both ingame and through Twitch chat (e.g. voting systems, raffles, bounties, etc.)
-
Many Twitch streamers would benefit from anonymity settings when creating lobbies or matches as well.
There’s plenty of Twitch specific global settings that I think the Warcraft 3 community would appreciate.
