Funny. Me and all of my friends for the first time in 14 years stopped playing Wc3 for more than a week because of this decision. But whatever I guess. If they ever get their (edited) back together, or let bots come back, then I’ll return as I always do. Till then, RIP.

I prefer without bots too. And it is easier to host a map now.

it’s a good attempt, but they messed it up, a lot of people are unable to play and get desynced from custom games.

bot infestation killed custom games for me.

cant wait until i can finally host my fav map and find players to play.

you can still play on the ENT bots, just not through bnet. ENT are still getting full games that get played out to the end too without leavers/crashes. Probably your best bet until bnet gets fixed next year.

Hell no, the custom games list being nothing but bots is what killed the custom game scene. Even with the connection issues, Bnet is more alive than it’s been since the 2000s.

Y’all keep talking like bot games aren’t real games… As if Legion TD bots didn’t host hundreds of games a day on their own. Like c’mon dude, only thing that killed the custom scene was the rise of MobA’s that were off of Wc3’s games list.

bring back the bots, they kept the trash out. very bad players is all you find now in custom games. after 5 mins they leave the game becasue they had a bad start.

the bots had there own bans for leaving a game team killing, also they had elo so there was a ranking system.

blizzard is really killing warcraft 3 with this patch. they should work together with for example ENTGAMING . net and the people who want to play with these bots they can. becasue there is prob 1000+ players at the moment playing on lan and bypassing battlenet. (its like ent has there own personal battlenet.

I will leave the game slowly now too.
Maybe its cool to host 1-2 weeks own games maybe its good for map creators but for big communities is this game now unplayable .

The current system is better. However, the couple of things must be improved!

  • Kind of ELO system should be added for custom games.

  • On custom games ban command works just for the current created game, not for laters…

Hope these are will be added soon. Consequently, we won’t talk about bots again.

Tell me how you want to make a ELO System for every single Map?
on 200 different versions.

Btw bots are still needed because you had an own Community and friends.
Now only Random people and leaver.
this update is so much crap.

I don’t want bots to host games.
Chat bots are ok.

But now since the servers are merged for custom games, there is no reason to have a spam list of game lobbies, 24/7 on sh1t games that nobody will join.

Why don’t you host a game by yourself, if you want to play a certain game?

If nobody want’s to play a game which a bot hosts, then that game is going to be polluting the list of all public games. With merged servers this list is going to be 5x bigger. NO THANKS
