PC Components For Max Gameplay

Hey guys!
Started playing the Beta yesterday and I can feel that the game is not running as smooth as I see people on Twitch\Youtube play it.

My pc is like 5 years old, it has 32GB of ram but I’m not sure what other components my PC has.

I searched the internet and found that these are the main components that run a gaming pc:

  • [ Case]
  • [ Motherboard ]
  • [ CPU [Processor]
  • [ GPU [Graphics Card]
  • [ RAM [Memory]
  • [ Storage Device (SSD, NVME SSD, HDD)]
  • [ Cooling (CPU, Chassis) ]
  • [ PSU [Power Supply Unit] ]
  • [ Display device, Monitor ]
  • [ Operating System [OS] ]
  • [ Input Devices, Mouse, Keyboard]

How do I check what are the components that are inside my PC?
I’m only 100% sure that I have 32GB ram but I have no clue what other components I got on this PC.

What should I aim for mainly? Graphic Card?
Does the monitor screen also affect the gameplay?
I’m looking forward to playing on MAXIMUM graphics and having the smoothest gameplay I can have, also for streaming on Twitch and youtube from time to time (want to be sure that the viewers can see me playing smooth also)

Thanks in advance!

EDIT:
heres what I got in my PC!

After some search, these are the components that are inside my pc at the moment.

Processor:
Intel® Core™ i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz

Video Card:
Intel® HD Graphics 4600

Operating System:
WIN10

RAM:
16GB

That is the cause of your problem. Your pc is powerful but you have a standart onboard graphics card.

Thanks for the answer mate!
What would be a good video card for running the game at MAX graphics?
How do I know that the video card will fit my motherboard?

anything else I should consider replacing?
the screen monitor matters also? it is also like 5+ years old

EDIT:
found these 2 video cards that fits my budjet and looks good (have no clue about these components, just checking amazon reviews)

ASRock Phantom Gaming X Radeon RX 570 DirectX 12 RX570 8G OC 8GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

MSI Computer Video Graphic Cards GeForce GTX 1050 TI Gaming X 4G

witch one should I go for?
Will it fit my motherboard?

About the monitor! If you have a better monitor, you will can play with higher resolutions on your settings, an higher resolution will decrease the serrated aspect and be able to see more far. Monitors have too the Hz (Framerate of things you can see in 1 second) If your monitor is as 60hz standart monitor, you will can be able only to see 60fps in your screen. With more Hz more fps you will can see! And about the graphic cards, your processor is very very powerful, that will can be able to use any type of graphics card, any of Nvd is good. Now your situation is that: Your pc want to run faster but your graphics card hold the powerful powers.
Edit: To know if the graphics card will match in your motherboard is only go see the info of your motherboard and see if have the slot “PCI E 16x” or the other type of slot what the graphics card need. But you will need a powerful pc font! Imagine if the graphics card need 300w of your pc font, that font will need have 500w to run with rest and time off.

First of all, these twitch streamers use a high-end pc which can run pretty much every game on max graphics.

Second, the game is not optimised for low and mid-ranged PCs. It’s written in a blue post.

Third, buy a graphics card, Intel HD Graphics 4600 is an integrated graphics card and is not suited for gaming.

How do I find out what motherboard I have on?
I’m not that knowlagble in PC components and stuff like this

Basicly my ultimate goal is to play max graphics and stream HD without lags .
After buying a graphic card, what should I buy also (PC font you mentioned) to be able to play as smooth as possible?

I would go for that, has almost the equivalent performance of a GTX 1060 .

Thanks man!
Will it connect to my motherboard/PC? I wanna make sure it fits (cost around 200$).
After getting this graphic card I will spot the difference right on? Because now to be honest the graphics are bad (running lowest graphic options possible).

Should I consider upgrading another component for my PC to make sure its running 100% flawless max graphics+stream?

What about my monitor? If I upgrade it will I spot differences or its only the size of the screen? (Have this LG screen for about 7+ years )

Thanks alot for all the information guys I really appriciate it!

No graphic cards CPU is very old must change also the motherboard at the same time with the new CPU to be compatible.
My advice is if you don’t mind to play with only CPU buy one of new the Ryzen 3000 series you can also play with them, but I don’t know about the max setting they can get for the game.

How do I know if my motherboard is supporting the graphic card?
is there anyway to see what motherboard I have on without disembling the pc?

Just get a 3000 dollar PC and you will be able to play with max settings

On a budjet

Try this: https ://pc-builds.com/calculator/ in your case id say Geforce 1070 GTX would be most optimal, and you will be able to play at max settings. My bro has similar configuration, and it works great. https ://pc-builds.com/calculator/Core_i7-4790/GeForce_GTX_1070/0zU0UNlu/8/

your cpu should be strong enough but, i am not sure what gpu you need to run it at max. i have multiple graphics cards i could try to find it out but, you do need at least something stronger than gtx 770m, as that runs it slowly.

Hum you can see it when you enter in the bios, and then search in Internet, but it seems to be old have most chance to be not compatibe. If you have the budget change CPU and motherboard when they are out the last 2 years in priority.
Got a middle range 1060/1070 power for the ref card it should be enough to run it at max setting.

just ask the manufacturer of your pc. they know what gpus you can use.

Well I have a GTX 1660 and wasn’t able to run on max settings, it was hovering at around 65 FPS (I have a 75hz monitor).

Although the problem could be on the network side, cuz it seems like they kept the awful netcoding of the original game, my ping is still awful and I get lag spikes…

Will be monitoring GPU usage this night to see.

Thanks guys!
So after getting this graphic card I should NOT buy anything else to run smooth?

well your CPU and RAM looks fine so yeh take a good graphic card
