Patch 1.32.10

what a trash patch, removed improved harvesting, boneyard not require sacrificial pit??? so many nerfs??? that’s bad, these were there for ages cause they were ok, too much simplification which means inability to fix issues.

I agree, the changes seem to slow the game down a bit, but maybe that is a good thing. At least all the races seem to have suffered some nerf. Will have a few games now to see how things play out…

the change on boneyard is trash, every decent player has shades asap. They also nerfed human lumber harvesting for what? humans dont have bunkers, knights sundering blades was a buff but kinda imba, no longer researched bu tknights move fast for hit and run on enemy workers, it’s a patch they did to pretend they did something, horrible.

The patch has internal mechanic changes beyond what was mentioned in the patch notes. From a modding point of view there were changes to the TVFS file format.

Also nerfing items is the wrong way to go, it’s an rpg+rts no items are supposed to play an important role. Now we dont have heroes just units that unlock abilities after scoring kills and items are weak. This isnt an RPG+RTS anymore.

The items were nerfed because item drops are largely random in melee and randomness is bad for competitive play. The idea is that all items that drop from creeps randomly are roughly as good as each other for the same level of creep. No instant win just because you were lucky and got X item.

Some race shop items were nerfed or redesigned because they did not compare well to shop items from other factions. It is not really possible to make the race shops more powerful as a race strength because of team melee modes where other races have access to those race shops.

competitive or casual it doesnt matter, u dont change the game. Imagine what would happen if soccer players were complaining about soccer rules.

Soccer players are all human beings. If other creatures formed teams and played soccer against humans, and the rules of soccer gave the creatures some sort of advantage to the point it was hard for humans to compete, they would explore rule changes.

hahahahahaha funny
