Other / Corrupted Ancient / Protoss Purifier Guest Race Ideas

I tried to text design - or should I say come up with the 7th race: the Purifiers and 8th race: Corrupted Ancients, but they either lack this or that, especially a unique enough identity.

The Purifiers are supposed to be unique from the other races by:

  1. Being mechanical race that all trained units are mechanical.
  2. They are Protoss like units from Starcraft II.
  3. They have Plasma Shielding as secondary health.

The Corrupted Ancients are also supposed to be unique apart from other races if it is possible by, and if somehow:

  1. They can permanently increase their hp very slowly overtime (1 hp per 8 sec).
  2. The Orb of Darkness item can be used as the race’s “representation” item.

But alas, as much as I wanted them to be official Ladder races, they not unique enough to be as official playable races, but only as campaign races only and only. I tried to come with a “unique” Corrupted Moon Well idea, but to no avail, as it is now beyond me, considering the other two races (Demon, and Naga races) are uniquely done and completed in text ideas form. I can go on and on.

So before anyone here comes up with these ideas about the Purifier guest race from Starcraft II, as well as the Corrupted Ancient race, I just want to say that it is overall pointless to come up with a bunch of unique-and-effective ideas that only God can come up with now, if not impossible for God Himself to do this.

However, the Corrupted Ancient race skin can be used as a secondary race skin for Night Elves, though…

I just talked to my uncle who works at Blizzard and he says he’s totally interested in making this happen

Make what happen, Triceron? What exactly? The Purifiers? Or the Corrupted Ancients? Or both?

I already have the ideas done, I just need to repost them with the updates, but unless Blizzard really wants them, I don’t think I will put up the new updates just yet…

Nowhere in fact for many months.

But. It seems like maybe the Corrupted race can become a possibility, as I am working on the text ideas about this 7th race.

The only major issues now are: four Heroes, out of which one is completed: the Satyr Twistbringer which I will transfer from the Demon race to the Corrupted race instead, if I can.

The minor issue is the Corrupted Ancient of Wonders to be needing some new unique items for the Corrupted race.

I’m getting there, because it seems that I was wrong about saying this race cannot become possible Ladder playable race. Well, we’ll see…

It turns out that the Corrupted (Ancient) race can become a possibility, after all in text form! I am almost finished with the race now!..

The Demon race is completed in text form which is the 5th race.
The Naga race is completed in text form which is the 6th race.
And the Corrupted race will be completed soon in text form which is the 7th race.

I told Retera in my email that the last update I gave him was “the last” about these races in text form, but the Christian lifestyle I tried to live at wasn’t comfortable for me, so I switched back into finishing the Corrupted race, after all, among other things… So I am back.
