I played the beta, and I was genuinely embarrassed for Blizzard.

Because he’s entitled to his opinion. I don’t see anything wrong with making a thread about his dissatisfaction with this game. He should be getting a reply from a community manager, not some pushovers complaining about refund threads. It’s a given there are so many refund threads, this game is in a sorry ass state and they butchered Classic long ago. If you don’t like it then skip over it. It’s in the title. Im not like this. If they said “look, there will not be new UI, shadows, good terrain textures nor lightning, nothing you seen from the Culling demo will be there. BUT we will refund you 10€” I wouldn’t be any happy.
I don’t care about 10 bucks up or down, but a quality game. IMO, for 30€ they should already deliver what we seen in 2018 trailers.
But its not a matter of “I need my precious money back, or lower the price” for me.
The refund option is there only if I find it like “insulting” once it released, but in fact, I don’t think I will refund, but keep the game, wait for patches to make it better etc.
For me the main issue is that what was shown in the 2018 gameplay trailer, and the Culling demo, is much better graphical wise than what we have in the beta. Also, when I see that screenshot comparison about the terrain textures, showing a much more cartoonish / greenish grass, and tree models worth of warcraft 1, I get very disappointed.
Because somehow, they advertised a version that made me and many others buy the game, and somehow, they changed it back to a much more disappointing graphics, due to some unkown feedback.

Remember when people compained in 2018 that the graphics were not colorful enough(I was one of them)? Now it’s the other way around.
Yes, because “people” is not a single entity or a hive mind, but oh! different individuals which, surprise! have different opinions!

and even think it wouldnt be impossible for it to be an optional graphic setting for those who prefer the previous, already existing looks.
The one below (the current one) looks far better.
