Orb of lightning = chance % to cast purge 200dmg on summon
Orb of Slow = chance % to cast slow
Orb of corruption = 100% hit rate to cause -5 armor
Orb of venom = 100% hit rate to cause poison and drain your hp
questions are WHY first 1,2 orbs is only by chance% but the 3,4 is by hit with 100% rate?
especially item 3,4 this item should be changed by chance % eg: 30% to cast as well to cast that instead of 100% ?
It is because the effects of the Orb of Lightning and Orb of Slow are significantly more powerful than Orb of Corruption and Orb of Venom. Both Orb of Lightning and Orb of Slow have crowd-control effects; whereas the other purchaseable Orbs only add damage.
The purge spell dispels magic, temporarily immobilizes the target, and then slows the target, as well as casting up to 200 damage to summoned targets. If that spell activated on every attack, it would permanently root the enemy and add ridiculous levels of damage against summoned targets.
Orb of Slow inflicts a powerful attack and movement slow that stacks with the Sorceress ability.
orb of venom is the most OP. u can see the poison damage ticks of dropping hp VERY quickly . equip them with all 3 heroes . and elf heroes are fast attackers. human are not. so the chance of slowing is almost no chance and its only by chance 20-30% and not 100% and by using orb of venoms. your 3 heroes can almost kill entire human army like slowly die 1 by 1 bcz human are slow movement race. they cant run. u keeper entangle root them. , warden fan of knife, or naga cold arrow, potm fire arrow + venom orb. u kill everything VERY fast.
Orb of Venom deals 8 DPS over 6 seconds, and it doesn’t stack. While that can add up to a lot of damage, it isn’t necessarily broken.
This is false. It varies by unit.

Yes. Cold, Slow, and Shadow Strike (the basis for Orbs of slow) are all separate debuffs that can be applied to the same target.
However, “applying” the debuff is a separate matter. Arrow abilities like Searing Arrows, Poison Arrows (an unused editor ability), Black Arrows, Cold/Frost Arrows do something weird with the auto-attack where it cannot crit or apply effects like poison. You might need to alternate between casting Frost Arrows and not using it in order to apply both effects; or you would need a separate hero to use the Orb.
Edit: One caveat, the “attack speed” portions of these spells definitely do stack together, but there is a chance that the movement speed reductions do not. Melee has the “movement speed bonuses stack” flag turned off, so it is possible that they fall back to the biggest reduction.
