Hello. I was logged in to the Bnet App (not that you can play otherwise aside through the editor) playing a Custom Games map through the Single Player menu. Went out and had the game minimized. My OS then went in stand by. When I returned and got out of the idle mode, the Bnet App was offline (this happens regularly) but the issue was that the game was now in the main menu instead of in the map I was playing. This is rather frustrating because you might not always save the game before moving away from the computer.
Same happens with custom campaigns. I assume with the usual campaign as well.
This is why I like to hold on to my Warcraft III CD. If you play the game from the Compact Diskette on the Windows 11 system, it is more reliable than if you buy the game directly from Microsoft.
Once the social media got in their heads, you know, you can’t trust them. It was the old people who created a fully working product, and then shipped that product in a box, that had a sense of doing their job for the customer rather than at the customer’s expense.
Similar to how if you want something done right, one way is to pay the Amish to do it, like for chairs and tables. Once the rest of society got manufacturing going, they all forgot how to build chairs and tables.
