Not friendly to new/casual players

Why complain about “my ally doesn’t know how to play” or “uninstall it noob” when we are not playing ranked matches?

Honestly I am not interested in random matches, just want to get my rifleman icon.

However, this kind of toxic attitude, which can be found everywhere in many games, will surely discourage casual players from queuing random matches.

New or casual players also have the rights to enjoy the game as you hardcore, professional players do.

Get gudd and you won’t suffer from this toxicity.

Why do you seek the rifleman icon ? It is entitled to the professional, hardcore players.

They’re everywhere now. The internet shields them from their real problems. Don’t listen to them lol. Just keep playing. When your MMR settles in, it might make things easier for you.
Just play, and if they start sassing you, just immediately ignore them. Not worth the time to read toxic comments.

I don’t know what it is about the newer generation of gamers, but man, could you imagine letting what other people say to you on an online videogame affect your enjoyment of the game?

For one second, could you imagine that there are abrasive people all over the internet who actually don’t care about your feelings? This is how people act. The only thing you can do is do your best and get good. No offense, but the issue isn’t toxicity, its letting what other anonymous people say to you on a darn video game affect your experience. It just means you have a thin skin.

You really should uninstall the game, not because you are new but because reforged is an abomination.

And harcore players don’t have a right to say what they want to people just because they might offend someone’s sensibilities? Seems like you are your worst enemy.

The Gaming industry and the new generation of people are suffering because of people with your mentality.

Basically , when the realm Warcraft 3 came out - The people who played games were called - ‘‘Gamers’’ , now the people who play games are called - ‘‘Consumers or Gluttons’’.

I can assure you , that you won’t get your icon in any other way , than the one that is pointed in the unlock section.

  • I am in my thirties and have been playing games for many years, so I should belong to the older generation.
  • Rifleman is always cool to get. I will continue the pursuit as winning 20 matches is not that hard. W/L ratio does not matter at all.
  • There is only a single non-ranked matching queue available, both casual and competitive players are in the same pool. No reason to whine in the current situation.
  • Freedom of speech has its limitations. It should be protected as long as the speech is not a kind of insult or harassment, subject to the hearer.
  • Perception varies from person to person. One being sensitive does not justify this kind of actions.
  • Feeling awkward about people preferring toxicity over sympathy, being aggressive instead of considerate.
  • I have never made such acts in all these years playing games online, both casual and competitive. It is not difficult at all to be nice to others. There is always a choice to leave silently even if one feels frustrated losing the match.

Thank you.

If some random player can hurt your feelings in game I don’t want to imagine how you could react in real life. I see this in every competitive forum here on Battlenet or Steam. Try to go play Dota 2 or CS for a moment and you probably collapse  Don’t take everything so personally jeez and get thicker skin when you play multiplayer games…simply “grow a pair”

Thanks dude. Haven’t tried Dota2 but LoL and CSGO. Skin did keep growing as I spent more and more time on these games. I am just wondering why this kind of behavior is everywhere on the net.

Luckily, in real life, my family, friends and colleagues are all being nice to me. Maybe it is a kind of emotional relief for those who are under great pressure in daily life.

WC3 has always had the most toxic community of any game. Can’t come up with one that’s worse. DotA was probably the worst, but only when it was still in the WC3 engine.
