I had this issue, I restarted the game and they appeared, Now my settings and Menus will not show up now and I can not exit the game unless it’s forced.

still no maps in ladder and can’t download any map in custom games, who knows how to solve this?

It’s been like this for weeks, I’ve already contacted support, they just tell me to leave the problems here on the forum. But it hasn’t been back for a week, I even formatted the computer, I went to a friend’s house with another internet connection and another computer and still I can’t play multiplayer, it doesn’t download the map and after a second of entering the room it leaves alone. This error appeared 9F797627-8F70-42C5-BE84-8096519CF8BD

If you can’t find any maps in any mode or custom games, that means the game isn’t looking in the correct location or your maps folder isn’t in the location it’s supposed to be.

Go to your documents folder. If there is a Warcraft III folder in there, back it up and then delete it. That should resolve the issue (the game should recreate the folder). If not, try reinstalling the, making sure the documents\warcraft III folder is deleted.

If you’ve moved your documents folder, try restoring it to its original location.

Another potential issue is OneDrive. I reccomend removing/disabling it if you have it, it is well known to cause issues with the game.

Thank you friend! I understood, but as I said in the post, I even formatted the PC, the directories and storage folders were the first things I tried to change. But even formatting, using another computer, using another computer on another network, the same error persists. Now that I read your post, I went to uninstall the One Drive to try to free myself from conscience. hahaha Even uninstalling the one drive the same thing happens. It very much seems to be something with my account. I even used it on another computer.

I’m not sure what you mean by “reformatted the PC.” A clean install of Windows?

Generally the only thing that can cause this is the game can’t find the files or those files are read only. Make sure that the user account you’re using has full control over the folders in question and that the Documents and the Warcraft III folder within Documents are not marked as read only.

If none of this works, I really don’t know what to tell you because I can’t identify any other potential causes.

Map files are stored locally on your PC, so your account shouldn’t matter.

As I told you, I tried opening the game on another computer, in another home and the same error persisted. I also can’t understand why another account works and mine doesn’t. And yes, I did a clean install. But the fact that I opened it at a friend’s house on a computer that didn’t even have battle.net. I installed it straight away and entered the game without changing anything. Still, the same error persisted.

Unfortunately I can’t think of anything else at the moment. But if you find something be sure to post with a solution :frowning:

I think you didn’t pay attention to one thing, the problem isn’t that the game doesn’t find the warcraft folder, it is when installing the game. The problem is that the game doesn’t download to the folder. When I connect my account on another computer the same thing happens, everything creates normally and only the maps don’t download, when I enter the room after about 2 seconds I am disconnected from the room. The problem is that I’ve already sent messages everywhere I thought possible here, no one who has access enters the account, looks to see if there’s anything. I paid and I can’t use it anywhere. I don’t even know what to do anymore.

It won’t do it if it can’t find where it’s supposed to go, which is what I was getting at. I’ve dealt with this problem before. If the folder is read only, it can’t download maps because it can’t save them in the folder.

The technical side here is not “i can’t download this,” it’s “I can’t save this.”

If it was specifically related to downloading, it would most likely be affecting everyone / many people i.e. the server is down or having problems. But I haven’t seen anyone else post about this, so that seems unlikely. And I have observed the game failing to find/save/etc maps before, and in those cases, its because the Documents\Warcraft III folder was read only, couldn’t be found after startup,

Regardless, this is not an account issue, maps are stored locally. If it was an account issue you’re be able to log in with a different account and it would work. Maps are not associated with your account either, so there really isn’t anything for them to check.

But, I installed it on other computers, I used another network in another house with another computer. I’m really the person who most wants this to be resolved because I paid to use the game. I even formatted my computer trying to solve it. I really don’t know what to do. Isn’t there anyone in support who has access to accounts and can try to use mine to see if it works? I don’t have conclusive answers. I checked the folders, the folder, the files, they are all ready, they are not read-only. I’m talking to you from a notebook that has just done a clean installation of Windows with nothing installed, just battle.net, antivirus disabled, I tested it by doing a release path on the firewall as well. But, it didn’t even work on 2 other computers in other homes that I tested.

We all paid to use the game, I know this, you know this, it doesn’t need to be said. I’m trying honestly in good faith to help you if I can. I don’t work for Blizzard but I want your game to work as much as you do.

This would be terrible support practice. Their own rules prohibit anyone from using someone else’s account, and this isn’t how you support account related problems- no support person for any company would say “sure, I’ll use your account and see if it happens to me.” But I can promise you, this isn’t an account problem. Your account knows nothing about what maps you have. Maps are stored LOCALLY on YOUR MACHINE once downloaded, and are not associated with your account. I don’t know for sure exactly what’s causing your problem, but it is beyond any doubt in my mind that it has nothing to do with your account.

If I could be there in person with you to help, I might be able to find the problem (there’s also using teamviewer to do it remotely but you should not trust any random person with access to your PC)

Dude, I only talked about the money because the support was poorly supported. The guy gave me basic instructions, and then told me to come and share here on the forum and see some answers. I’m not a layman like you think I am, I know that the game stores the map file on the computer, I wrote above that I know. But you download this within the GAME, if the game didn’t have access to this folder it wouldn’t even be created because the folder is in documents. What is happening is that the game itself does not access the download. Can you understand why I used the example of having it installed on another computer? What this seems to be gross is that my account is restricted from playing online. But the support only gave me a simple step by step and as a final answer come here.
Don’t interpret it as if I’m demanding or claiming something from you. I only commented on the support that could have done something specific to my problem, there is a policy according to the problem. They need to have this access to the account, precisely to resolve problems. But forget it, don’t think I said anything directly to you like complaints.

I mean we all know this, and that’s why I’m trying to help you… it’s best to just leave such things out of a help thread.
