No longer pre-purchasing another Blizzard product

Pre-purchasing is a common and often predatory tactic in the gaming industry.
However, I always pre-purchased Blizzard products.

I pre-purchased Overwatch, every WoW expansion, and Warcraft III Reforged.

I am so incredibly disappointed. The cutscenes, and many of the features I was looking forward to, are not in the game. They do not exist.

I haven’t found any bugs, and I haven’t been DCed, and I’m still having fun. But this ends my streak of pre-purchasing.

It has been made clear to me with the advertising of this game that the Activision-Blizzard execs have pushed predatory pre-purchasing tactics onto the Blizzard team.

I still find the game very fun. I’m still enjoying it. Hopefully this game can get No Man Sky’ed and be fixed later down the line. But that doesn’t change how shaken I am as a consumer of this company’s products.

Disappointed and disheartened.

I don’t preorder from any other company, other than Blizzard. Now I will no longer preorder from Blizzard.

This is really bad. I am afraid of the next expansion of wow, and even if the expansion is great on release, what if they pull a warcraft 3 reforged to all the patches after it.

I’m honestly against pre-purchasing since you’re never guaranteed a full product but hey, its people money.

I’m in the exact same situation! Gladly pre-ordered thinking “damn, it’s Blizzard, it can only be good”. Two hours into the game I found myself just clicking that “Classic graphics” tab…
