I have been hearing rumors going around…And was baffled by hearing this. But will Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne Battle net will be removed as well when Reforged is released? For example, they already did this with Reign of Chaos.
Warcraft 3 Reforged looks great! However, a little bit too great, where streamers with the HIGHEST end computers are getting 25 FPS. There is no way my 8-year-old toaster computer will be able to play reforged anytime soon.
The plan as stated is that when reforged is released, classic War3 will be migrated to bnet2.
Presumably this means you will be able to play classic War3 on bnet2 using your bnet2 account. Also presumably this means your bnet2 account will share account stats/ladder rank/league rank across classic and reforged.
Good thing I backed up my Patch 1.31 installation. I can see that setup going horribly, easily.
Right, and then you’re also not alienating the veterans that play this game. For example, this could be a huge hit to Warcraft 3’s player base if they removed Warcraft 3 The Frozen throne battle-net.
