So I noticed in the comparison video that there is one key element that is missing from the buildings…that is the transitioning from the building to the ground. In the old WC3 this was done with a little stone circle thing and looked nice. Now in Reforged the textures are gone and it is in my opinion very hideous! Why did they do this???
Im not quite sure what you mean by that.
Are you talking about the building process where you start with a foundation and it slowly turns into a building or if you are talking about when buildings are destroyed?
Regardless, I’m sure the former will be added as it obviously looked unfinished, while the latter is subject to change with feedback!
I think they’ll change this. In the B2W interview they also said that the ground textures will be redone. Currently they are just upresed Warcraft III textures.
If the buildings get some kind of textures on the bottom, they’ll feel more ‘grounded’
That’s what I mean is I want the buildings to feel more ‘grounded’ and not just sitting there. Right now they feel like they are just sitting there in one place which isn’t right. I don’t think its final but was just pointing it out to make sure it get corrected.
you mean the foundations of the Buildings? yeah they Need to Change that and make it look much much better.
