Thatās just so wrong man. Thereās literally no reason to downgrade graphics to debug a game. Thatās a ridiculous statement.
They clearly downgraded on purpose.
They downgraded graphics and thatās a fact. Donāt you say so?
There is no another reasons why graphics now looks so crappy. They couldnāt just accidentally break it, lol. This is beta and such graphics in beta is a normal appearance.
why wouldnāt they justā¦give us the good graphics to test now before release?
There are obviously some technical reasons we donāt actually knowā¦
But i am sure on release graphics will be fine
I can most definitely think of a reason.
Competitive players have been complaining about the lack of clarity in the colours etc. Which is why they oversaturated it and got rid of comprehensive lighting.
Because of all the refunds from people running the game on max settings at 10fps who think the game is unplayable, when it could just be an optimization issue.
But no one equates bad performance to unoptimized build, because āI played SC2 beta and it was much more polished than this piece of junkā.
People are already refunding for less reasons than this, why would Blizzard want to give more reasons to?
Letās face it, you arenāt asking for the beta at that point. Youāre asking for the 2018 demo.
How are people supposed to actually test the game and give feedback on the graphics if they use some downgraded version?
Give me an example of a blizzard beta which ever upgraded their graphics AFTER beta
is funny because those player have a 2000ās notebook for the task at the school but they wanna play games and the fault is the gameā¦ XD
The game maybe can use more cores, but is too light at the same time, i have 200 fps at 1440p.
SC2 had numerous graphical improvements throughout the course of its life.
WoW also has plenty of graphics improvements over the course of time.
There isnāt any stipulation here that says āBeta is indication of final, no improvement can happen afterā if that is what you are suggesting. I am not saying the graphics will change either, what I am suggesting is Blizzard is providing settings to players that they wish to control to test.
As for aesthetics, what you see is what you get. We donāt know if they have something better for final, or if this is literally how they want the game to look. People are just comparing it to Unreal and 2018 demo and whatever because thatās what they want to see, not because that is what Reforged final will actually look like. In terms of Reforged, we actually donāt know what the final result will be. Itās all a guess right now.
Graphics already look way better in this version with better effects, and its still not done. War3 is old engine, they need to downscale beta for testing. Blizz is ignoring everyone complaining about how bad it looks because they know they gonna wow us in a couple weeks. xhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GWJiR5ve3o&t=1464s
Thatās not very apparent according to that video even.
Seems like saturation is upped along with lighting. Considering this is an imported campaign into custom maps and game isnt even done, I still have lots of faith things will be good on release.

Completely Unreliable source
Everyone keeps saying Blizzard has some grand master plan, but until I see something that doesnāt look like it was created in 2008, I will continue to worry.
no new update so far. not that i care when i have a co-op commander in starcraft 2 to level. they have not even unpinned the latest note topic.
Not everyone is saying that.
i aggre, sadly
They typically keep 2 versions of patch notes up, the latest, and the previous version. They remove the previous version usually hours before an update, then post the new version, and the current version becomes the previous version. Essentially: if there is only 1 set of patch notes (the ācurrentā one), then there likely is an update incoming within 24 hours.
