so I can’t use my Grid Quick cast anymore, can’t find a thing to make it quick cast properly, this new update destroys everything, can we atleast on hotkeys menu get some stuff to make our quick cast and ability changes? this is game ruining
A lot of ppl now struggle to play any mode now. Blizzard you must give back our good old grid layout on QWER not on ZXCV, or just give option to choose one of them.

I cant use grid anymore before patch it was possible to setup different keys to grid mode thanks to War3Preferences.txt but it doesnt work anymore. So basicaly it means you cant play custom games…

I was playing with Grid on QWER quick cast, but now quick cast isn’t supported by the game, it’s a mess just revert to the old patch

as annoying as it would be, can’t you just use custom hotkeys and just set everything you use to match the grid setup? Not that you should have to, but I imagine it would work?
I’ve been using the original letter-from-the-ability-name system since day1 ROC, doesn’t seem to be anything wrong there at least.
I already tried that, quick cast is not supported in the scripts anymore or smth like that, without quick cast game is ded

Grid isn’t the issue, it’s quick cast not working. without it, it’s game breaking for many of us who have used it for years.

ah, well, people were mentioning hotkeys like it was tied to that.
Hoping a hotfix addresses this soon, this is a show stopper for many

Grid also isnt working (customizing it). Only the default qwer/asdf/zxcv, but cant change it

it might be connected to that-the patch was supposed to update the grid mode to work with other keyboard layouts.

the problem is, why would grid need to support specifiy keyboard types, grid lets you assing a key to a set ability slot, you set your hotkeys however you want, doesnt matter what keyboard type youre using
now you can edit grid hotkeys anymore, it is locked to 1 type only and you cant customize it anymore
the other problem with custom hotkey tab is, you can only set hotkeys for existing abilities from the base game, custom games cant do anything with it because they made new abilities
and quick cast already got mentioned
Same here, my brain is wired way too deep with quickcasts via grid layout. Its a pain to play any gamemode, including melee and campaign
