Forums are generally an outdated form of internet communication when we have things like twitter/discord/reddit.
Forums are uniquely this 2000s to early 2010s thing, even when the reforged forum was active, it was nothing compared to the heyday of WGDF.

Well, people dodge this forums because of the overwhelming amount of hate here. Also I don’t get why replies on a patch is a sign of the state of a Community.
This 100%
When I look at for example different gaming sites that I used to visit and still visit quite often, you can clearly see how the communication has moved away from there, even from news comment section into discord and reddit especially. So that is one major thing + ofc many people overall had already stopped caring and moved on at this point.
The people who you see here are possibly mainly older fans of WC3, and the ones who still like to cling on somekind of hope that this game could yet be significantly improved by Blizzard over the next months. And ofc some angry ppl who post the same kind of threads over and over.
But ye, TALON is exactly right that forums in general are not nearly as popular way of communication anymore among players and its usually us, the older people who always used to communicate this way that are still doing so. For example I stay away from reddit and in regards to Discord I only use it to communicate with the people Im playing some game with, not as this overall communication channel about all things related to gaming.
refund the game, there are thousands of other games to play
