New engine for Warcraft Reforged

I expect from Blizzard to change engine into new one. The sooner it will happen the better will be in the end.W3 deserves everything better .

This is what companies decide not to do and milk more money on their old trash engines.

For example: Creative Asebmly with Total war, Bethesda with their trash Creation engine, Blizzard with their outdated WOW engine…

I would rather see new Warcraft on source 2 engine and have graphic and animations like in Dota 2.

thisengine is fine u have new ingine game will feel different and it ll lose all the atmosphere and stuff it had now and it had years ago. do you even think before you write something like this, i dont think so.

Its kind of sad how you can still expect something from blizzard considering how they managed to ruin almost everything with the old game.

No, it would not be WC3 anymore. It would also kill 18 years of custom maps.

So warcraft 3 will be dead and there will be no dota ressurection because game won’t shine as suppose to be

That would mean destroying the classic gameplay and all the tournaments. The Reforged models are fantastic and mostly the old gameplay has been kept.
The only issue is with distinguishing the units sometimes, thus Blizz need to work on the colouring.

You’ve obviously never made a map/mod before. Imagine buying a new game that completely breaks the hard work you’ve done on a map for 3 years.

i have bought W3 classic ROC + TFT 2 times, 18 y ago and 15 years ago… Dont see any reason to buy Remasters if it is like it is today… But if they made real REFORGE with engine like dota 2, with esports features like dota i could pay for it one more time

if dotas crew could switch form w3 engine in to valves engine it shouldnt be so hard

nah! im sure i would buy it once again after engine switch with new features, and i like graphic i dota 2 very much, it would be a MUST HAVE for me

I don’t want an engine change. Too much would be lost. So no. If it were a game without modding and cross compatibility, like RE2 then yeah, it could have worked but the RE2 method would not work for WC3.

It would divide the community. Reforged in WC3 engine at least had a change.

Also, I don’t think people realize how much the gameplay is tied to the engine.
