Mountain Giants are new meta

You can easilly tech to t2 and buy mountain giants. then go t3 so you can get spell and damage resistance.

but thats not all. just uprage 2 times armor and they get ridicculously high +8 armour. (you can even go further than that).

elfs can also buy bears from same building and use their spell to heal mg 400hp…

you can also buy +3 armor scroll from shop.

so totally mg can have +13 armor, spell and damage resistance, bear 400hp heal AND staff so you can teleport them away when low hp.

this makes MGS most best unit in the game for any purposes. they do decend damage and ALSO mega damage against buildings. :D:D

and you dont need to micro them at all, maybe check every 5 minutes if one of them has dropped below 80% :wink:

They should get Tiny’s stun-attackers passive ability. That’ll really get people to uninstall.

They should attack at max speed and move at max movement.

The enemy will literally never see what hit em.

in this video u can see how void rays are much better than corruptors. they didnt nerf them during 10 year or so develoment and patching…

except that mg’s have no mechanic even close to what a void ray did.

and void rays weren’t “overpowered”…that’s coming from a high master zerg player.

anyway, giants have been part of the meta for a while it’s not new…and they got reverted back to their old selves with the food increase…i’m not sure what you’re trying to kill mountain giants with but hopefully you’re not using tier 1 ranged.

everything you said in the original post has a counter…so i’m not even gonna bother other than tell you to learn how to play and stop looking for gimme gimme’s.

interesting how you dont mention double taunt. its the most broken part about them. 4-5 mg = permanent taunt aka permanent cancer for the opponent, have fun refocussing the same unit every half second.

Nono you didnt precisely understand me. I dont care about tweaking the game, I just want them to do it with a style. Overdo tweaks to the extend that they become absurb and funny.

I want also MG´s to be able to fly and have void ray beams. That is funny. I want to have one single unit that makes me win each game just like in sc2 void rays. Thats why I can be noob and I dont need to think about strategies. I can even pay to have op units monthly to have empowering victory over other players.

why are MGiants tier 2?
They are often better at doing “the melee job” than the tier 3 bears.

Move MGiants to tier 3 but make them have the two Skin passives by default.

Because of your relatively poor understanding of the situation you don’t even comprehend how ridiculously you’ll buff NE by this. NE almost never play MGs without harden skin, without this upgrade they’re arguably the worst melee in the game even considering their taunt. So you basically suggest to move them on T3 (they in 99% of the cases are played on T3 only) but give them in exchange two expansive upgrades by default)) Seems like a good deal for me!

thing is, nightelf player a moves the mountain giants while all others have to micro like hell to deal with them.

you have to focus fire a unit other than an MG when they use taunt and that’s micro like hell?

wtf? lol i dunno what sub 40% players are doing to deal with it but that’s not how it works lol…this is a micro intense game no matter what you go…mg’s, mass casters, orc beast + spirit walker build, all require a ton of micro to deal with.

i deal with mg’s easier than mass garg for example…

uh no they aren’t lol! and without hardened skin + resistant skin there are even more counters to them (including being devoured/poly’d/entangled, slowed for full duration etc.). if you’re struggling against tier 2 mg’s you’ve got to learn how to play. back to the lobby bro.

I dont think MGs are necessarily overpowered, they are just very boring.

Back in patch 1.26 days, we occasionally saw elfs get 1-2 MGs and it worked… but now we see elfs getting MGs more than bears and its no longer exciting

Throughout the history of competitive play you won’t be able to find more than 10 games with MGs since (1.26) statistically-wise they were the most underused unit in the game if I’m not mistaken less than 2% of the games they were built. They weren’t good back then, they were complete disastrous sh!t without any application and the fact that you need to focus more frequently with MGs right now isn’t an argument, that’s completely understandable for the unit that costs almost like a hero and took 7 food from your army, yes that’s ok that you cannot counter t3 unit with T1 units (that btw is supposed to be the exact unit you counter with MGs). Unfortunately, it’s just super trendy to hate NE even though most of their complaints have nothing to do with balance

I didnt say the game should be balanced or didnt intend to whine bc my race is inferior against elf.

I think making game more op with void ray MGs increase greatly my feeling of being inferior to other players and thus empowers my selfworth.

If the game is made unbalanced in the way that I can abuse it, it represent more like what real life is today - unfair, unbalanced and only ruthless survive. I like it to be more realistic in that unbalance way.
