I have a theory that they will save the most news about any game for blizzcon. Due to shame last year they want to bring as much good news as possible to get screams at the opening and save the credibility of the event.

It’s hard times though when we have to wait ONE WHOLE YEAR for the NEXT BLIZZCON just to see NIGHT ELF MODELS at this rate.

They did show some Night Elf models on their Reforged site a while back however they hid them again when too many nerd virgins got mad that one of the female characters was wearing too many clothes.

That was because Blizzard mixed in the Undead Hero Dark Ranger with the Night Elves promo.

Why would Blizz show off an UNDEAD hero unit inside the NIGHT ELF unit pool?
My personal theory is incompetence, but it remains a mystery.

As a result, some players erroneously assumed it was the Nelf Archer and wondered why the new look appeared so different from the original.

Tellingly, Blizzard chose against clarifying further, or simply leaving up the ACTUAL Nelf models. They just took it all down.

It’s been an amazing year for Reforged.
Just about twelve months and…

♤ Leaks provided by Chinese fans

lul, bless your soul, it’s been ages since I’ve seen this term used online. Gave me a good laugh. The proper phrasing was “nerdgin,” though. And ironically, being a nerd is cool now… so calling someone a nerd virgin is like saying “awesome virgin.” Times change :frowning:

well, let’s put it this way.

The classic team isn’t actively playing warcraft 3, nor do they know the current state of the game. Pete will just ask Grubby what’s up after a few months of doing who knows what, and then we’ll have some random Grubby influenced change like “hey let’s be able to death coil meat wagons cuz they have the word ‘meat’ in their name omegalul”

Second issue is that nobody at Activision has even heard of warcraft 3, so this is not their main concern right now. They’re trying to sell the big fish like WoW, Diablo 4 and Overwatch this year…Reforged is only marketed towards China where it will be a hit over there, but not so much in the west (specifically in the USA).

And for the naysayers that think War3 is going to be some revolutionary e-sports game with prize pools comparing to LoL, Dota2, Supercell mobile game prize pools, etc. just ask yourself how big a draw this summer’s WGL was…or how much money SC2 has been paying out over the past decade.

Anyway, hopefully we get some news in a couple weeks…to be silent for an entire year and then break the silence AT BLIZZCON is pretty disrespectful, and Pete knows he’s prolly gonna get heckled a bit on the panels this november.

I dunno why blizz employees keep doing this to themselves lately…it’s like always cringey at blizzcon now cuz those people just aren’t making folks happy anymore lol.

When one of the Blizz devs said “There will be a beta in 2019” I think It’s this Blizzcon and not open beta worldwide :frowning:

No, just no. We do not need any more leaks.

I am tired of telling people their triggers leak. It has been this way for over a decade. Then there is all the time I wasted playing maps that leaked too much having to deal with low frame rates and huge exit times.

Everyone wants less leaks not more!!!

It’s very strange, I admit that I was very disappointed about the Dark Ranger at first because I thought that she was the Archer.
But I think that I noticed a skull on her at one point which made me doubt it and then they confirmed that it was the Dark Ranger.

It’s just really weird, I dunno wtf is going on with Blizz and WC3 Reforged.
WC3 was such a massive success for them and is such a big deal, I dunno why they’re not hyping it up more…

Do they not believe in the game?

just wish that the game wont be delayed more than a few months from their initial plan (11-12/2019). the game could still be released in 2020 you know

My hype pipe has been leaking for a year.

Those were not leaks, however, but an official release at ChinaJoy.
