Mobility Meta

Recent tournaments show clearly that this game is all about mobility and base defense.

Ud has Aura and incredible base defense and akkos. Orc has aura and burrows. Nelf units are super mobile (dryads bears dh) and base is super safe… then there is human => You have the slowest units in the game (except knights) and no base defense at all. The peassants are a joke. Militia has no flexibility since you can not activate it at your expo and you defenitly need to be able to switch it off. The towers are paper and take much to long for the training. This is IMO the reason why we won’t see humans take part in any serious wc3 final anymore. Good players just leave the race.

Suggestion: Improve movementspeed of human army a little bit
Reduce tower training time slightly
Make it possible to turn off militia-mode anywhere on the map
Make it possible to turn on militia-mode at any Townhall

Bears are painfully slow and so are chimaeras, while spellbreakers and gryphons are fast. They need a movespeed buff first, chimaera up from 250 to 270, and bears up from 270 to 290.

Acolytes need some form of harass protection first. A haunted gold mine needs to be like a burrow without attack with a room for 5, where acolytes can hide if harassed. Acolytes won’t be able to mine gold while hidden inside a haunted gold mine though, unlike wisps who can continue to mine gold while hidden inside an entangled one.

I’m fairly certain that is why Halls of the Dead and Black Citadels can attack, and Undead Ziggurats upgrade to some of the best towers.

I’m fairly certain that peasants can turn into militia in any Keep and Castle, and Arcane Towers perform better against heroes and summons than undead towers do.

Give Necropolis a basic attack of 9-9 and we’ve got a deal.
