Hello
I make W3 maps from 2003 in map editor
Here is the example what i was doing,
so for instance i opened random 8x players map i edited couple of things, like add some heroes, add some items etc, then i been saving it to the map catalagoue, w3 or frozen throne one, whatever,
then i go custom game, and i got this game on my list, i could chose ofcourse 1-8 player slots. Job done
Now after a certain break, i opened the reforged map editor, and i don`t know what the hell is goin on,
so,
i opened the map 8x players one
i put some extra creeps there
i added my description
saved it
went to custom game
at first i did not know where the hell i should save it, since now maps dont appear in w3 folder !!!
anyway i found out to just save it in maps(empty folder)
and it pops up in custom game menu
i open the map
but the thing is there is only 1 slot !!! in 8x players slot map ???
What is going on ???
I was like ok, lets open new map in map editor, and just add 1 random item in the middle, and save it like it is without changing nothing more,
guess what, when i open it in custom map it is also a 1 slot only available, even tho the map is for 8 slots
What changed ??? what is happening please help
I got second request
I thought i will skip this nonsense on reforged, and i did run W3 public test(u know the good old frozen throne)
I wanted to run my map from there in custom games, but i can`t figure out, where to put the map file, i mean to which catalogue, so it is visible on custom games there.
Anyone ??
