Fact - They did fix the Launch issue on Mac. (The game Launches)
Problem - Although alot of Mac Users get a black screen (with audio) - Temp User solution is CMD+tab > open game from doc icon.
Result- Game now has a visual display then a prompt comes up to update to 2.0.0.22365
Problem 2 - Mac user goes back to Bnet and checks for update (nothing) - Changing regions results in the same end result - uninstalling 30gb file and reinstalling same result.
Problem 3 - PTS version launches fine > prompts for update names (build verison B) ((which takes user back to Bnet)
(updates are not obtainable of which is requested / needed to proceed on Mac) (this may apply to PC)
I think the issue is the Silicon integration that they are struggling with. if you look at the wc3 mac hardware requirments its based on a intel 5 and or 7 to run. (this is my understanding from the whole situation.) I could be wrong.
Hey if you are intel based mac then thank you for confiming it being a mac mac issue and not the processor of the mac world. ok could be a bad port / client / maybe kernel idk
its likely an issue with the mac specific code. Something they added after fixing the launch for mac in 2.0 required additional fixing on the mac side that they either didn’t get done in time or don’t know how to fix.
Havin same issue with it requesting update and no update on battle.net. saids update to 2.0.0.22365 on M2 Max MacBook pro. tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck
ahhh Harambe was an influence beyond the litch kings kingdom with a warm embrace that even the blood elves envied. Harambe was a Legend among some yet a rolemodel for others. Haramabe was a gentle soul. Now hes just a wisp.
just checked after CMD+tab out of the black screen now its saying update to 2.0.0.22370 instead of the 2.0.0.22365 is this progress? or updating the file needed.
