I was playing last night and the game experienced an error and crashed on me. I reopened it today and I’ve lost all my campaign progress and saves. I’ve had crashes when I was playing months back on the campaign, but I never lost my progress. Are those saves lost forever?

Campaign progress is saved locally, so if you can’t find/recover the files, they are gone.
However, you can just use the allyourbasearebelongtous cheat to instantly win missions to get back to where you were quickly.
