I have an inquiry, many years ago I had an account on warcraft III TFT at battlenet gateway: azeroth.
Now I try to login and it automatically throws me at Warcraft 3 reforged.
My query is, can I link my past account within the game (which is from a different email to this account’s email (current bnet)
That email from the warcraft III TFT account I no longer use, because it was more than 10 years ago.
I have the username and password.
It is this account: "Shadow[ChL]
In short, I want to link my old warcraft 3 TFT account (which has another email) to the new account I have from current blizzard (which I am using for this post) to play reforged with “Shadow [ChL]”
regards
You can indeed import legacy stats into Reforged.
One thing to note though, there’s no UI in the game yet that displays legacy stats. So as long as the importing process claims it was successful, you’re good to go until Bliz codes the stats feature into the game.
However, you don’t get to keep your name. Reforged will use your Battletag as your in-game name (the same name here on the forums).
I see, thank you for your answer.
Maybe it’s a matter of time, maybe old accounts can be joined with the original Battlenet account.
Or maybe, for older players that option could exist … So you don’t lose interest for years playing and getting the icons of the games.
Everyone gets one free Battletag change. You can do so by clicking “Update” here.
I don’t think it will allow special characters though (like the brackets for the clan name).
