Greetings everyone,

I would like to ask about language option in game. Will still be there various options like in classic Warcraft 3 or it will be avalaible only in english ?

Classic Warcraft 3 is available in:

  • Deutsch, English (EU), English (US), EspaƱol (EU), FranƧais, Italiano, ķ•œźµ­ģ–“, Polski, Š ŃƒŃŃŠŗŠøŠ¹, ē¹é«”äø­ę–‡.

Reforged will be available for the following languages:

  • English (US), EspaƱol (AL), English (EU), Deutsch, EspaƱol (EU), FranƧais, Italiano, PortuguĆŖs (AL), Polski, Š ŃƒŃŃŠŗŠøŠ¹, ķ•œźµ­ģ–“, ē¹é«”äø­ę–‡, ą¹„ąø—ąø¢, ē®€ä½“äø­ę–‡

Why do they bother doing multiple English versions? I still play even though there is no AUS version. Seems like a waste of time.

Well, now that you mention it, I donā€™t think thereā€™s any difference in the actual gameā€™s language. Iā€™m not sure why thereā€™s two clients, but Iā€™d guess it has something to do with European and American servers.

there need to be an option to change language like in any modern game, just one click and done.
having to install a whole game just to change language is a pain in the 4ss, and right now Iā€™m not even sure you can install the game in anything else than english.

I do not have any problem with english but they did some masterpiece in warcraft 3 with translation into my own language ( czech ) and just wanted get to know if it will be avalaiblle again.

They do notā€¦ Its the same English version just mirrored multiple times. In fact they only offer English US as far as English game data goes. This applies to all their games where English UK and other regions were all merged into English US.

The reason the same language installer is offered in different region variants is because of different licencing agreements. For example the English UK installer must comply with EU regulations while the US one has to comply with whatever little regulations the US has. Ultimately all English based installers will end up installing English US data as no Blizzard game is localized for English UK (which is actually subtly different with regard to the spelling of some words like color/colour).
